These High Falutin' Pillowcases are SO NICE. I originally found one at an outlet store, without any packaging, and then spent a couple hours trying to find out where I could purchase a couple more. These Cases are thick and quilted, and they add a new dimension to my pillows, giving them a much more substantial feel. They feel incredible, and they do feel very cool to the touch, even when you put a pillowcase on top of them. For those people leaving negative reviews about them not staying cool all night, here's what I have to say. These pillowcases are not air conditioned. They do not Plug into a wall, or have a compressor. They do not have ice packs built into them. They are simply pillow cases that are made with a Fabric that doesn't retain heat like other fabrics do. They also have a metallic thread that runs through them, to help stay cool, just like those $2500 Mattresses. If you laid on some ice cubes, they are going to be very cool. As your nearly 100 degree body temperature comes in contact with them, they are going to melt and not be so cool after a little while. That said, I think $50 is a bit expensive, for 2 King Pillowcases, but they are high quality, and still worth the cost in my opinion, and I would purchase them again.

Excited to report that this pillow case cover feels about 95-99% identical to the covers found on Bedgear storm 0.0-3.0 series. Those pillows sell for about 200 retail so this is a great deal, as I feel the cover is more than half the wow factor, especially considering the inherently limited lifespan of all bedding.It feels cooler to the touch than most other materials, even through pillowcases. The benifit is not of course that it actively cools all night, but that the initial feeling of coolness is more distinct when first touching it or switching sides, and that it seems to stay cool, or rather draw heat from you for a little longer than normal cloth. Typically a pillow/case equalizes to me in about 30-50 seconds, but the same pillow with this feels cooler even about 2-5 minutes after....which is significant and I feel objective although I am too lazy to break out the temp gun.

If you are buying this because you want a cold pillow protector - don’t. This is a wonderfully made pillow protector as far a quality goes, but it is not cold or even cool. The fabric has a lovely feel to it. Very nice. Just not cooling in anyway. I still like it because of the quality and feel of the fabric. So I will keep it.

No more flipping the pillow! Keeps the pillow cool & protected. Easily removed to wash. Zipper keeps it securely on pillow. Downside is after putting it on the pillow, the pillow cases now slip off and twist.

I am surprised by the negative comments, as after sleeping with this pillow protector for a week I am much more comfortable and have not had to flip my pillow over once! Usually I flip my pillow over at least 4-5 times each night due to being too hot. This item does not make your pillow cold - it just keeps it comfortably cool. I do put a pillow case over the pillow protector, and I would guess that if used alone it would be even more efficient. Also, the protector itself is made from a thick, elegant fabric that is well-made. I am a very pleased purchaser. 💙

This pillowcase seems like a nice enough case but if you're buying it for the cooling properties, save your money. It is cool to the touch but as soon as you go to sleep on it it doesn't stay cool at all. I've had others that came in the pillow I bought it with and they somehow retain their coolness throughout the night. This pillowcase was disappointing.

Yes, they are cool and quite comfortable to sleep on. What I didn’t expect is how strikingly beautiful the cracked ice pattern is: white on white embossed triangles with iridescent silver thread outlines. Pictures do not do this pattern justice. Even the texture contrasts are gorgeous. I have these on my bed without cases because 1) they’re way more effective that way 2) they go perfectly with my retro decor! If I could upholster my sofa and get a matching coverlet in this, I would.PS: The cases are slippery like a satin or silk pillowcase, so they help protect your hairdo as well!

Ce protège oreiller est fameux. Il reste frais toute la nuit et protège bien mon oreiller.Je l'utilise depuis 2019 et il est resté aussi efficace et en très parfait état. C'est pourquoi j'en achète un supplémentaire pour compléter ma literie.

Stays cool for a short while but not as good as others my husband has had before.
