Firstly, this revue is for the 10 amp version. I notice the other revues are for other models.Seems to work a Ok. The instructions are in Chinglish and therefore it’s hard to determine the exact use of the ‘repair’ switch. It ambiguously says ‘press repair switch’ without saying which whether you press it to ‘charge’ or ‘repair’.Two stars is all it’s worth due to the very short cables. The mains supply cable is too short to for the charger to sit under the car while charging so you have to have an extension reel hanging in mid air. The 12 volt cables are again too short to do the same thing. The charger itself is too large to rest in a space in the engine compartment so that the bonnet can be lowered.That means I ( underlined) will have to extend the wires to use it as I think fit. Shameful and unacceptable.Edit: doesn’t show it’s charging. Sent it back. Now one star for useless, don’t buy.

I have a Volvo which had been laid up for some time when I tried to start it up I realised the battery was as flat as a kippers dick. After some perusal I invested in this device and I am pleased to report that it not only does the job but is simple and hassle free to use.After attaching the clips to the battery and plugging into the mains, the device takes over, it first told me that the battery was indeed flat but could be recharged and then started its work and this was all done in the first minute.The LCD screen tells you what stage the recharge is at the procedure progresses and in my case the total time was 9 hours which on a smart battery was impressive.In conclusion it does exactly what it says it will do, in the manner it says it will do it which is always very pleasing. Great value for money, fast performance charger.

I'm amazed by this charger, having had other chargers over £100 and not working properly, I've been through many chargers. Being an auto-electrician I wanted a budget charger for home, all the others failed to do a simple job of charge a battery. I decided to get this based on reviews, best decision ever! The spelling on the machine is terrible, for instance fault being 'fualt'. However it's common sense what it does. Best value for money

Received today, plugged in, connected to car battery and does everything as advertised. BUT worryingly it completely blows away my Powerline wifi internet connection!! All systems restored when I unplugged thecharger. Somehow the charger is interfering with the powerline devices. Anyone experienced similar problems or is this an inherent problem with the unit?

I purchased this charger primarily to be used for battery maintenance as my 'old car' alarm and tracker system places a permanent drain on the battery resulting in it going flat in 2 - 3 weeks. which was not good for the life of the battery. The charger keeps the battery fully charged which just need 7 hours.Works well with intelligent digital display that shows the temperature, charging voltage, charging current, and battery level screen, easy to understand. Well worth the money.

Did exactly what I hoped it would. Battery was absolutely flat as the car had sat on the drive for weeks shortly after installing a new battery (long story).It was so flat I couldn’t open the boot. This charger solved the problem in minutes.It does require an extension cable (which we had to feed out the window to the car as the actual cable on the charger is short) and the instructions have been badly translated so we got it to work a little by trial and error. The charger was saying the battery was “Full” but you have to ignore that and press “repair” to actually charge. That said, it was fab.One word of warning - as we had to use a key in the lock rather than remote opening, as the battery started gaining charge, the alarm started firing so it took a while for there to be enough power to use the key fob to switch it off! Warn your neighbours. This would have happened with any charger and not the fault of this particular one.This product is highly recommended

I purchased this car battery charger and did not use it straight away. I needed to do so about 3 weeks later. It felt very light and not at all robust. I duly read the instructions and plugged it in to charge up the car battery and noticed that a green light came on immediately BUT in the 'chargefull section' NOT the 'recharging' one. I left it for an hour and went back to check it and the battery voltage and battery current section were still showing the same figure I started with. That is to say the machine wasn't working. I feel extremely disappointed and would definitely not wish to purchase another one.

The charging unit is compact and well designed, it's got a small cooling fan at the end which is whisper quiet and was glad to see an active cooling, the LCD display gives a clear indication as to the state of charge and is much more accurate than the previous basic unit have had, has many modes to charge many different voltage battery, the clamps have plenty of long lead to have this outside the car and the bonnet can be shut, overall the build quality of the charger is great and does the job well.
