Does the job
This little pump has running for about 1 month. And it is definitely little. I have a dehumidifier in the basement sitting next to the air handler for the air conditioning. The condensation from the A/C drains into the dehumidifier reservoir. The float/pickup sits in the bottom of the dehumidifier reservoir; don't let it float or you will get erratic operation. I installed a check valve which I purchased at my local pet shop. You will also need an AC line cord and an inline fuse. It works well and keeps up when the A/C and dehumidifier are running simultaneously.

Edited this review. Pump Doesnt last longer than a year
Edit : Dropped stars as after about a month the thermal overloads get weaker and it shuts off. After about a year they are no longer dependable. I still will buy it as it is the only pump of its type on the market. Sucks. It's a very expensive solution that I am currently trying to find a workaround so I don't need to buy these expensive pumps that don't seem to last longer than a year. Intermittent failure rates are also disappointing. So is the hundred dollar plus price tag. I have purchased about seven of these total. Five are now trash. The other two are on their way out. Original review: I bought one as an experiment to take care of seepage leak on an underground wall of my house. As it pumps down to about 3/8 of an inch, I recessed it into the concrete floor in the path of the leak and this bad boy works perfectly. The automatic float does what it is supposed to do as turns the pump on and off. It isn't to loud and as I have it behind drywall I can barely hear it. It is self priming and can pump 3 feet high no problem. I bought 3 more after the trial run experiment. Its a handy device to say the least. We are headed into the rainy season here and if this thing blows out I will be back to drop stars and voice my complaints on the longevity of this product. As of right now I am thoroughly impressed with this product and can recommend it to pump out minor water flows automatically.

TOO NOISY to use with a minisplit a/c
It makes loud noise so we couldn't use it for our minisplit a/c unit. It could be heard loudly above the television with surround sound.

Bad experience
I bought this product to use on my AC mini split unit in my house. I installed it and it worked fine for a week then I went on vacation for 2 weeksWhen I returned I noticed my wood floors were warp because the pump had stopped working and the floor was floodedBased off my experience I would never again buy this product or recommend it to anyone

Reliability is key
Still performing after 2 months. Very quiet. It is the only pump that takes 1/8” tubing.

Very low capacity
This unit makes a LOT of noise, considering it will only pump 2 gallons per hour. Most "condensate pumps" will do 10 to 100 times this. But if you need just a small amount of liquid removed, it might be worth it.
