KidKraft Modern Mansion Dollhouse with Lights and Sounds

I purchased this doll house for my 7-year old for Christmas and she LOVES it! It is very well-made and sturdy! The floors are large and open enough to comfortably accommodate several Barbies, Monster High, and BRATS dolls. The furniture that comes with the house is absolutely adorable and, again, very well-made. The couch, bunkbeds, and dining table/chairs are all made out of real wood and are very "punk" with the bright colors and modern design. The toilet flushes, the keyboard plays music, and the lamp lights up - all really cute touches. My only complaint is that the elevator doesn't slide as easily as it should and so we will have to toy around with it to get it functioning properly. But overall, a GREAT bargain for the minimal money spent!!! The product arrived quickly and in perfect condition!

our daughter originally wanted a barbie colorful dollhouse....but we thought spend $100+ on a plastic house...just because it said Barbie was ridiculous and found several KidKraft alternatives for a Christmas gift for our 6 yr old daughter. She wanted something that was brightly colored and big. We are very pleased with this house. The furniture it comes with is pretty neat. The toilet makes a sound when you "flush" it..which we found amusing. IT is solidly constructed and pretty easy to assemble-my husband did it in about an hour on Christmas eve. Daughter really liked it and i think it will stand up over time pretty well.The lamp did break pretty quickly..but it still comes on and can probably be glued back....i don't see anything else in there that would break that easy........only recommendation is that the back of the house should be painted because it is a simple white on the back...it would be nice to have it painted brick..or something as we are not using it against a wall. But, overall..very pleased and would recommend this.

i wish they would refund the price to some degree. my daughter was super bummed out that it didn't come with them as that was the reason she wanted it so badly but i didn't realize it until i had put the whole friggin thing together!

I was really excited about purchasing this doll house for my neice. We had recently seen a similar product in a store but the store sold out so we decided to purchase one on line.Sadly, it arrived after christmas that I could deal with but upon opening the package it had a ridiculous amount of pieces to put together. This doll is made for someone who wants a hobby of putting them together. Every little piece down to the toilets,lamps, etc. have to be put together. This is not clearly defined in the advertisement otherwise I would have never purchased.Needless to say it is now February and my neice is not yet able to play with her doll house because we just dont have the time to put together all of the pieces.I will say the doll is house is very nice and any young girl would want to play with it. But you will need a skilled adult that has about to weeks to put it together or someone who doesnt have a full time job.Sorry this review is so negative but if you are going to purchase it you should know the truth.

This is definately a great price for the product we received and my daugher loves it! It is very large and big enough for my 2 year-old son to climb into (which he's attempted several times). I only gave it 3 stars because there are a few items on the picture that do not actually come with the dollhouse ( the keyboard, round floor mirror). Also, the demo videos and descriptions makes it appear as those there is a light that actually comes on and a toilet that makes a flushing noise. That is not the case. There is a still lamp and a toilet but neither do anything besides sit as a prop. The assembly of this dollhouse was cumbersome so if you are a person who doesn't enjoy 30+ pieces and picture instructions, I would not recommend purchasing this dollhouse. Once it's put together, all is good and the kids are happy!!

My son in law set this up on Christmas morning for my grandchild. It took him an hour to do it. Everyone including my grandchild was impressed with the quality of the house. My thirty four year old daughter asked me where I got it because she wants to get one for herself and her thirteen year old. This is the first time I have purchased a kidkraft product and I know that I made the right choice. When looking for dollhouses my first choice was the Barbie houses, which did not impress me. I stumbled upon the kidkraft website and took a chance by purchasing one. There were so many houses to choose from but I wanted to see how they were constructed before spending lots of money. The house was very reasonable. I would recommend kidkraft to anyone who wants a well constructed house that's well worth the money. In the future I will probably get a larger one with more details. My other granddaughter got a Barbie house for Christmas. Really I am not impressed with all of the plastic or the cost. Thanks for this wonderful product. Love the incorporation of wood and all of the details.
