I have a small business that is constantly changing, so I have to adapt to the times. One of the challenges is to keep an inventory of the parts that my customers might need more often. These tabs with its sub-dividers are exactly what I needed to keep stock of my inventory. The included eight categories, each with three subsections allow me to set the same amount of main parts categories, eight different types of components with three subsections of the varied models. I know it sounds a little complicated, but in the practice is not.I have shelves with boxes containing the parts, I placed labels in the boxes with a correspondent tab and subdivision, for instance, the tab 4-B in the binder I use for the inventory has all the specifications of the component inside the box labeled 4-B on the shelf. It makes it easier to find anything, and when something is running out of stock I can place a sticky in the binder so I know I need to reorder that part, and I also know how many are left. The labels I'm using are white, but I'm thinking in adding colored labels to the boxes too. So, I can locate things faster in the shelves. These Avery Dividers with Sub-Dividers have been extremely helpful for me, and I highly recommend them.

These work very well for my purposes. I actually didn't realize I got the sub-dividing dividers but that turned out to be a blessing. I was able to make good use of them.I'm only subtracting on star overall because Avery spammed the heck out of me after I had to download their template for the divider index page. You cannot get the template without giving up your email address.

I can't say I love it. It's a paper product, and the only paper product I could love is money.So, I have many irons in the fire. I have several projects, work, and volunteering that I do. I generate a great deal of paper but when I go to find something I'm usually ticked off because it all becomes a mess.I got several sets of these, and the best part is that you can customize them for your project. NOT through Word, but through the Avery website itself. you just type in the item number and it comes up with the blanks for you to fill in. I also got a bunch of inexpensive view binders, one for each project. This has five tabs, regular 3 ring style, and also has subset dividers.I'm using this one for recipes and the subset dividers work out really well to keep things separate. Seems like lately I'm printing out recipes from Pinterest more than using a cookbook so I needed a place to put them. The view binder is nice because I can put a neat picture of food or something on the front (Yes, I am one of those people who photograph something they cook if it looks good).

I really like the way this set of eight tab dividers has subtabs, I think this is a really useful feature for the kinds of things I organize into notebooks. The only thing I would prefer is if there were four (for fiscal quarters) or five (for fiscal quarters plus year-end) subtabs instead. Also, my set was defective and missing a tab, and while their site offers extensive documentation and interactive help, I cannot find anywhere to deal with a defective product nor a simple email address to utilize for assistance (all I can find are chat and phone info, during hours I'm usually busy).In general, The tabs and the binder holes are plastic-reinforced, but the paper itself is not as heavy as I would like it. There are two nice touches:- the back of the tab labels are printed so that the tabs can be used in landscape mode if preferred; and- a separate page is included as a contents page; their downloadable Design & Print software (Mac version) doesn't know about this product number, but it is easy enough with MS Word tables, for example, to layout a contents page.

These are your typical Avery index tabs that fit in a 3 ring binder/notebook. The tabs are constructed well with reinforced holes so that they won't tear and fall apart. The tabs are color coded and easy to find what you are looking for quickly. These particular tabs are numbered 1-8 and then each comes with subsections of a,b and c. The tabs work well however I am not fond of the actual use because you need to reference the index to figure out what is in each section. Other tabs I've used allow you to write on the tab itself or are pre-printed with obvious categories, with this I'm slowed down a little bit having to flip back to the reference to find what is under a tab section or subsection. Overall great quality, good price, I'm just not a huge fan of the execution of how these work.

This set of dividers is perfect for me to keep track of various designs and projects that are on-going for my small business. There are eight major dividers along with 3 sub-dividers under each of the major ones. That allows me to keep track of information on a large range of projects. I generally am running around 20 or so and have release dates scheduled out six months. The eight major dividers allow me to set up monthly categories and still have two for left for miscellaneous projects that don't have schedule dates.The set comes with a table of contents and you are able to go to Avery's website to get templates in order to print on the page at the proper spots. The TOC is color coded to match the divider colors so it is easy to match it to the dividers. I wish there had been more TOC pages included or at least a way to buy more as these seem to be the thing that I might need before the dividers wear out. The dividers themselves are a heavy duty paper with reinforcing at the holes. They work great for my needs and I have been very pleased with them.
