Great deal. Works good. Accurate. Easy to see.
I liked it enough that I bought a second one. The GPS finds satellites almost instantly, within 10 seconds of waking up, often less than 2 seconds. Functions are accurate and super easy to access. Display is large enough for my aging eyes. Automatic backlight is perfect for early morning rides in the dark and doesn't seem to change battery life much. The USB recharge is easy. I seem to get 20ish hours of riding per charge no matter whether the back light was on or not. The actual battery life might be much more, I recharge anytime there is one bar left on the battery meter when I get home. The sensors have 800+ miles on them without a battery change. Even with a speed sensor on the wheel, it won't record distance while riding a trainer or rollers inside. Speed and cadence show correctly, but distance doesn't accumulate indoors. I wish XOSS would create a "Trainer" mode that computed distance from the speed sensor, even if it had to be enabled from the app. The data uploads to Strava have been seamless - without glitch.

Clean installation for my mountain bike
I bought this for my new full suspension mountain bike. I did not want a wired computer as I desired a clean installation not subject to snagging on brush. I purchased a meilan cadence (bluetooth) sensor as well. I have been very pleased with this cyclo-computer. I ride primarily in a forested area on a very serpentine singletrack trail. The gps does pretty well given the tree cover and the fact that I am switch-backing within the tens of feet. The bluetooth update rate is good (e.g. for my cadence sensor). I like the auto pause feature which detects when you stop and stops the total ride time. The unit has an altitude feature which I find to be pretty decent. Also, when I first power on the unit, I push the play button twice (play and then pause), I find that this makes the unit get a gps fix. I think that the displays are pretty well laid out. I've not had trouble reading them even while bouncing down a trail. The controls are very simple. So, if you want a clean install and are not looking for absolute accuracy if you're going to ride twisting terrain (because the gps is averaging your heading) I would recommend this. It really is an excellent value for a gps based cyclo-computer.

Works great
So far seems to be a very good unit, especially considering the price. I do not Reccomended the speed and cadence sensors from this brand though as they did not work at all. Use the moofit sensors or something else if you need sensors.

Far better than the $100 bike computer it replaced.
This unit is more than I expected. I recently had a heart issue and as a result I’m doing cardiac workouts. I purchased the XOSS heart rate monitor and it works great on my phone. Then my bike computer of 10 years died. It wasn’t cheap but didn’t want a super expensive replacement either. I did have a chest strap with that, but it didn’t connect to my phone. So when I saw the price of this computer I figured, worst case I return it. Boy am I surprised in a great way. Not only does it pair quickly to my ant+ devices but it also allows for me to record on my phone every detail of the ride, showing my heart rate with my elevation, with my speed, with my cadence. It blows away the expensive computer I had been using. I’m kinda glad it died! The only knock I have is the default settings on the US sold device is in metric, and you need the app to change it. My entire first ride was not recorded right. Then I changed it, but you also need to change in the app. Kinda annoying. I’m also finding it challenging to get the wheel settings right so my speed and distance are right. Still you can’t go wrong for the price. Liking the rechargeable aspect as well. Really a great product despite the setup challenges.

Bluetooth does not connect and App Contact Us open the app home page
Pixel 3XL could not connect with the G+ although the phone found the device and indicated that it was trying to pair but failed. This also makes the Cadence Sensor worthless and this proved to be the case on the road today. This also means data from the G+ will not transfer to my phone. Additionally, GPS took 20 minutes to make connection - worked fine on GPS after that. Not interested in waiting for for the G+ GPS every time I go out. With regard to the app - "Contact Us" opens the Home page so there in no way to contact the Manufacturer/Supplier Followup - tried to contact XOSS support (rather non-support) - no reply. Almost worse than a defective product. Processing a return of the device and the sensor. Spent a lot of time trying to get the G+ and the Cadence sensor to work over the last 2 days since I received them so it looks iike I will return them, especially sine I cannot contact XOSS.

I love technology but ...
As for hardware, I'd give rating 5+ to the XOSS GPS bike computer. It is more accurate than wired/wireless computers based on counting wheel resolution. No wires, sensors and magnets. I am not quite happy with the XOSS app. Although the device has USB plug, the connection doesn't work. One has to use Bluetooth interface to phone that is cumbersome and sluggish. Also, the device measures distance in miles, while app shows kilometres. Nevertheless, I like it and recommend it. Let us hope the app developers iron out the kinks.

Excellent value with solid, basic feature set
UPDATE: After 16 months of use, in the middle of a ride, the screen froze. The screen now displays the data from the last second at which it was working. Neither turning the unit on and off, plugging it into a charging cable, starting/stopping recording, nor syncing it to the app have helped. Oddly enough, the computer still works, but as I can't see the data or tell what mode it's in, it's effectively useless. I dropped my rating down to 3 stars. For $40, you get a computer that works for a little over a year, but then it becomes junk. On the other hand, major brand cycling computers cost 7.5x as much and come with a 1-year warranty. If one of those were to break in the same time frame as this XOSS unit did, I would be out quite a bit more money. Pros: - You can record rides and see current speed with just the head unit using GPS. - Pairs easily to Xoss's speed and cadence sensors. - Pairs easily to other manufacturer's ANT+ sensors (e.g., Bontrager Duotrap S). - Pairs easily with Bluetooth to your phone and the Xoss app. - Syncing rides (once I figured it out, see below) is quick and easy. - App can sync to Strava so you can upload rides directly to Strava by syncing your phone to the G+. - Inexpensive compared to other GPS bicycle computers with similar connectivity and features. Cons: - GPS can be slow to connect. Where I used to live, the GPS could take 2-3 minutes to connect, but in my current location, it connects in less than a minute. - Xoss's Speed and Cadence sensors don't use magnets on the wheels or cranks. They appear to rely on accelerometers. Occasionally, they give erroneous readings, like doubling your speed or cadence for a second. The wild readings don't seem to distort the recorded average speed or cadence, but it is a little odd to look down and see my cadence reading at 230 rpm. - It can be tricky to figure out how to sync rides. It took me a while to figure out that I needed to stop the ride recording (not just pause it) by a long-press on Record/Pause (left) button. Once I did figure it out, I found I have about 30 saved rides to sync. I had entered them on Strava already by simultaneously recording the ride on my phone, but it might be helpful to know that your rides do get saved until you sync them. I purchased the Xoss G+ and Xoss speed and cadence sensors to replace an aging computer that had speed and cadence but predated GPS capabilities. At first, I was a bit disappointed, because of the slow GPS connection (I started a habit of putting my bike outside and turning on the GPS a few minutes before I was ready to go) and the occasional wild reading from the sensors (for which I blame the sensors, not the head unit). I was also disappointed that I couldn't sync rides directly from the computer to my phone and then sync to Strava. Fortunately, the issue there was a mistake on my part, but I partially blame it on the manual with its tightly packed text and pictures. The instruction is there, but it's easy to miss. In the end, the Xoss G+ has proven to be an excellent replacement for a barebones old computer. I get accurate speed and cadence readings when synced to ANT+ sensors that rely on magnets not accelerometers, and I no longer have to worry about recording a ride using the Strava app on my phone while also recording it on the bike computer. All for less than I paid for said old computer 10+ years ago, and much less than competitor GPS bike computers (some of which do offer more features like navigation, messaging, or connecting to lights and other devices; features which I do not need at this time).

Great Product
I actually purchased it to track the speed of my RC vehicles. To test it for accuracy, I took it for a ride to compare it to the speedometer in my car. It’s pretty close and consistent.

Awesome Budget Cyclometer!!
I was looking for a "not so complicated" budget friendly cyclometer for the sole purpose of recording the total distance that I will be doing on my new hybrid cycle. And, seriously, at this price point there were so many options that really confused me and I almost gave up. But after seeing few reviews in YouTube, I went ahead with this one. Now, that I have done my first ride with this cyclometer, I am really impressed with what it offers at this Budget friendly price point. For now, I will be giving a first ride impression, sort of an early review. So, I am breaking these down into the following points: 1. Built Quality Xoss G+ built quality is rugged and will definitely last the test of time. Though it's all plastic, the material used is very good and feels good to touch. The 2 physical button's, made of soft but durable rubber, placement are good as well and has a good tactile feedback on the press. Also it is IPX7 waterproof certified which at this price point is simply awesome!! 2. Display Though the display is smaller compared to what others are offering, it is still very clear and legible even when you are riding the bike in direct sunlight. The display shows all the necessary information's like Speed (Kmph), Odometer, time, distance travelled, battery level, etc. And all these parameters are laid out properly in the display without looking cluttered in any way (pic attached). Also, the option to get more information's like Heart Rate, Cadence and more by pairing the other sensors (sold separately) at this price point is again great value. The display also has a white backlight which makes it easy to read in the dark. 3. Setting it Up The major concern for me before buying this product was it's setup. If you look at most cyclometers below the Rs.6k-5k mark, there lot of attachments, magnets, wires, sensors that needs attaching in the bikes hub or spoke or pedals and then syncing/wiring them up... YIKES!! I saw various option in Decathlon but the set up was not clear or was cumbersome. But the Xoss G+ was a breeze to set up. Let me highlight it step by step: i) The first thing I did was to scan the QR code in the original packaging and download the Xoss app from Playstore (available in App store as well). ii) After charging the device for an hour, I switched it on. iii) Open the Xoss app in your mobile (register for 1st time set up), select the Xoss G+ device from the list and connect once your device shows up in the list. iv) After it connects via bluetooth, you can go to Settings in the app and set the Device parameters like TimeZone, metrics (kmph) or imperial (mph) etc, Riders information like your age, height, weight & Cycle information like bike model, tyre circumference, etc as per your and your bike's specifications and once you click on save, it gets updated in the Cyclometer as well. v) Attach the cyclometer in your bike's handle bar with the provided mounts and you are all set for your first ride. Do go through the manual once for making your selves aware of the complete operation of the device. Alternately, there are lots of videos on set up guide for this device which you can easily look up in case you need more information. So, easy setup. No magnets, no wires required for setting up this cyclometer. 4. Value for money It took just 10 seconds to find a full bar GPS signal in my first ride with this cyclometer. Also, I found the readings to be very precise and accurate as I compared the same with other app. The best part is that you can sync your rides in Strava app automatically if you have connected the same in Xoss App. The Xoss G+'s battery life in one single charge is quoted at 25hrs which is good if not great. I ride almost 2-3 hours per day, charging the device once every 8th-9th day isn't bad at all. Cons: Coming to its demerits, I must honestly say, overall functionality-wise, there isn't any. But if I were to nitpick on its cons, there are a few: 1. USB C charging should have been a bonus. 2. It just comes with a meagre 500 mAh battery. Could have been better. 3. They could have provided a better mounting bracket which comes with the Garmins or Wahoo. Overall, Xoss G+ is the Best Value for Money Cyclometer at this price point. It actually offers features which are available on much pricier devices. Syncing your rides to Strava with full ride analysis, Device built quality, ability to sync with more devices makes it a must buy if you are looking for one. So if you are looking for a basic cyclometer to record you daily rides with full analysis, look no further. Thanks... Stay fit, Stay blessed!!

Most bang for buck cyclometer
This is probably the most economical of all the cyclometers available online. It’s easy to setup using the XOSS app on smartphone. Connects effortlessly to cadence and heart rate sensors. No power meter option though. Intuitive to use and the auto-pause function is quite intelligent. Also displays gradient, which is a bonus! Syncs seamlessly with Strava and TrainingPeaks. The only downside is while riding under trees the speedometer goes off a bit which is probably expected from a GPS cyclometer. Doesn’t affect the final readings though. For riders, who are just getting serious about cycling, the XOSS G+ is an excellent amateur cyclometer! No power numbers yet.
