Wouldn’t trade this for any of the more expensive ones like it.
Great bayonet knife. It fit on my NcStar bayonet lug for my maverick 88 with no problems. However, when I upgraded to my Mossberg 590A1 with factory lug I did have to Dremel the ring on the knife out just a little to get it to lock in place. I still wouldn’t trade it in though. The quality and durability is fantastic! The design of the sheath is great with a sharpener and wire cutter built in. The weight is also well balanced. It truly looks like it hold up to anything you might throw at .

Updated review!
Original: The knife came dull and has some defects, like pitting in the blood groove and also there were some burrs on the spine that I had to file off. Overall it looks cool but the blade doesn’t seem to be able to hold an edge and I really hate the pitting in the blood groove. Might return or might just get a more expensive one idk New review: upgraded to 5 stars, I returned the other knife and got a replacement, very quickly I might add and it is flawless! Everything looks like it is 10x better, the sheath has a richer color and seems to be better quality and thicker, harder plastic. The knife is flawless and came very sharp, the black color of the hilt where the bayonet ring in is smaller (it’s a good thing) and darker. It seems like maybe luck of the draw I guess when it comes to QC could be bad or good but I’m really happy I got a good one. The other one didn’t attach to the bayonet lug tightly and rattled bad despite having the adapter on it and this one fits tight and doesn’t move at all. Love it!

Best budget bayonet
The Wartech M9 Bayonet is an excellent choice for those in need of a reliable and versatile knife. Its durable build, sharp blade, and ergonomic design make it a valuable tool for outdoor and tactical use. Despite its slight heft and the sheath’s quality, it delivers exceptional performance, earning it a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Mini M-14 fit.
I don't think I have written more than 2 reviews in all the years I have been an Amazon client. I am an old school rifle and bayonet marine as I trained on the M-1 in Paris Island in the summer of 1961. Have worked with a number of rifles from a number of countries. I recently bought my first Mini M-14 and quickly bought a Mini 30. I love those two rifles. I gave away my Ruger AR15 and SAFAR as they are neat but just not the right rifles for me. I bought this bayonet for the Mini M-14 based on the only review that mentioned putting this bayonet on a Mini 14. The reviewer said he had to adjust a screw and it would work just fine. I am used to dealing with new rifles and other like weapons and bought the bayonet as I could not see paying $100 plus dollars for an old carbine bayonet. You need an aline wrench to loosen the screw at the tip of the handle. I wiggled it around a little and found a fit. I left it loose and added gun grease and worked the locking mechanism about 50 times and then tightened it as much as I could, still allowing enough slack to slide it on and off. It will take more time to play with the mechanism as it is a heavy duty knife put together tightly. What is not mentioned or I did not see was the mention of a sharpening stone and a pouch that a carbine or M-1 oiler can fit into. I don't know how they can put together such a knife/bayonet at such a price. Once we get passed the Christmas snowbirds with their new toys, I will take it out to the range and see how the Mini 14 fires with this attached.

Pretty good for the cost.
Once again I purchase a Chinese knockoff of an M-9. Big difference this time it's for a friend that likes the overly aggressive sawback unlike me, I prefer the early Phrobis contour. Once again the ring for the flash suppressor is a smidge too undersized. No problem, after four others it was a two minute fix. What surprised me was the handle was actually the right size. WOW! I didn't have to add a spacer and it fits a standard A2 with no issues now. If you can't handle a dremel it's a solid four star though.

Doesn’t fit Mini 14.
Does not fit either of my Mini 14’s. It seems the barrel hole is too small for the flash hider. It goes over but there’s not enough wiggle room to line things up. Will be returning. Edit: I was able to loosen the catch screw and align it with the barrel hole and it now fits. I’m bumping up a couple stars.

Hole is to small for the barrel
Good looking knife, cheap steel that’s why it’s so inexpensive great cheese. I really like that. It will not fit on my 590 shotgun bayonet lug. The hole in the barrel ring is too small. It won’t fit over my AR 15 barrel.
