These are made of a 100% glass. Not a cheap plastic that will scratch. They have some weight and with a rubber backing, they stay where you place them. Easy to clean. The pictures slide in the back. I found the image size was 3.19 x 3.19 inches, square. The white areas, under and around the image is permanent so the image is smaller than the size of the actual coaster dimension. The white areas help high light the image. I find changing the images easy, so every month or two I change the pictures. As for a gift, they are very affordable, and I can see ordering more for the holidays. I take nature photos and the picture of the frog shows the borders and how the final product may look. The back shows the photo pocket and rubber backing.

They’re cute and I like them but they were definitely used before and returned. Aside from the box being loose and crushed there was sticky white thumbtack or clay on a few pieces. I can’t give it as a gift like if I intended but I guess I’ll keep them and use for myself 🤷🏽‍♀️

But smaller than I thought..but would work great to add magnets on the back and put on the refrigerator

I love these coasters! I was concerned that it would be difficult to get pictures in but had no problems and used the sample photos as a cutting guide. I've placed snapshots from my travels in the slots and love the potential they have to be conversation starters and how the coasters match and personalize my home decor. This item would be perfect if there was a way to write a note at the bottom without the marker rubbing off but yet the solution would need not to be permanent so that when I changed pics I could also change the description. Otherwise I love these!

Easy for gifting if you print your own photos. You have to set up a custom print size, but you can print at least 4 on a US letter size photo paper if you have the software like Lightroom or Photoshop to set up a template. I would suggest the manufacturer change the base to a non-slip silicone type material.

We bought a bunch and used them for my mother-in-law's birthday. everyone got to bring one home (with a picture of their childhood memories) recommend to put a soft small felt sticker on the back - helps keep the coaster last and no scratches on the bottom/glass. originally were worried about the sturdiness and presentability but these were great. The back where you put the picture is flimsy so we were worried how long it would last and few years in - still looks GREAT.

These were a gift to my sister in law and she immediately loved them. I also loved them so much I bought myself some. Highly Recommend!!!

Bought 2 lots of these for my dad for his birthday as he is the most impossible person to buy for. I got some pictures of my children and my niece and nephew that I know he would love and sent them up to him. I wasn't there when he received them as he lives far away and it was during the lockdown, but my sister assured me that he was thrilled by them, however, they are apparently too nice to use as coasters and are now mini photos around the house.They are clearly very nice, but if a drink was spilt, it is not unreasonable to think the photo could get damaged as the photo simply slides in rather than there being any seal.

Good photo coasters to look at but they're just not practical. The problem is that the part on the bottom which you place the photo into is not in the centre of the coaster and does not cover the whole base. If you look at the example photo there is a pocket on the bottom that is exactly the same size as the photo on the front, this means that the white bar at the bottom of the coasted has nothing under it and therefore nothing supporting it. This means that if you put something accidentally overhanging that edge of the coaster it would be prone to tipping over and the glass sliding off.I'm giving them a 3 star rating as they are still usable and are nice solid glass coasters. But whoever designed these obviously didn't think this through or try using them.

These were purchased as a mothers day gift over 6 months ago and went down very well indeed. I bought some photos size 3.3inx3.3in beforehand so bear in mind you will have to do this if purchasing as a gift as some of the main photograph retailers don't have such non-standard sizes but plenty of websites do.They were quite easy to slide the photos into place between the glass and a thin black film but I did get one stuck which displaced the film slightly though it looks fine from the front.After using them every day for 6 months they still look great, easily cleaned and protect my table surface as expected.

The product itself is just as pictured, I really like it. What I didn't like it is that I bought 2 sets and received just one. There wasn't a single piece of tape on the box. In fact, I'm surprised I received one set.The only thing I want is to receive the second item, I am currently trying to figure out how to contact the seller or Amazon.Update: I received the second item on the next day after calling Amazon customer service. So, I am giving another star. I still like the product.

I love the look of these coasters, and they do the job well. It's great to pick your own images for the coasters, and the Polaroid style frame gives them a sort of vintage feel.My only complaint is that the sleeve that holds the photos isn't much larger than the glass framing, so it's a bit difficult to cut the photos down to the right size. It's not very forgiving because of this, so better to start too large and trim a little bit at a time.
