This works, BUT there's some issues.
So I was a little nervous when I saw this product at first because I really didn't want to mess it up. But after reading the reviews and remembering how bad azz I am, I decided to give it a try. I didn't watch any videos or anything, just gave it the good ole college try.I followed the directions to a T, except I started placing the glass on the liquid from the bottom of the phone screen, not the middle. This way I was able to line up the edges and it "fell" into place perfectly.I love that it doesn't look like I have a screen protector on my phone, and my camera still works great. The fingerprint did stop working, however. Which kind of sucks, but I wasn't really using it that much anyway, so idgaf. But I paid for this phone to use all of its features, to then pay $40 for a screen protector to take some of those choices away... uh, you decide, how important that is to you. So if you lovvvve using the fingerprint. Then don't get this, because it WILL NOT WORK!I am also wondering when/if I need to take it off will there be any residue left from the glue π€....I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get there. π€·πΎββοΈI was going to give it all a 5 out 5 stars, but to decided to give it a 2 on fingerprint and a 3 on ease of application, because for the average nutty Joe, this probably isn't that simple to do versus getting an already sticky screen protector. But at least I know my phone's safe and not going to move. I mean it is glueeeed down, you hear me?? GLUED!Also, a tiny bit of the glue leaked out of the sides while it was curing under the UV light and it hardened before I could clean it, but it's all good. My phone case still fit over it and all is right with the world.Great product overall. Total of ππ½ππ½ππ½.5/5

Be patient, be vigilant during install.
Okay, here goes. PLEASE read this carefully!! I'd like to save you some money. I have 3 words for you; patience, patience, patience. This kit is great, once you know a few things. First time I tried the install, I was very worried about the alignment and dust as I sat it down. This took my focus off where it should have been - Edge wiping. This protector WILL move around on you until the adhesive cures. This is hugely beneficial for exact placement of the glass. The reason the phone needs to be flat is because the protector will literally start to slide off the phone if it is angled while the adhesive is still liquid, causing a HUGE mess! This sliding movement can be used to your advantage when the phone is level. Worst thing you can do is press down on the screen while adhesive is liquid. This will also make a huge mess, and waste essential adhesive. This isn't like other screen protectors that need pressure to stick. This is a fluid film that makes up imperfections in both your screen and the glass protector, and spans the gap between the edges and your phone screen. Not knowing that the first round, I pushed on it during install. This only pushed adhesive out of the edges, (Which I didn't catch in time), and made the adhesive layer take longer to spread. Once the adhesive was spread, I started the initial curing process. Once done I noticed adhesive buildup around the edges. This will NOT come off with wiping after curing! I attempted to cut along the edge of the protector to remove the excess adhesive - Bad idea. It chipped the adhesive under the protector, and started separating the glass from the phone. This is not fixable. I removed the first protector and started cleaning up the phone for the second attempt. Attempt #2 went better. I paid more attention to the edge wiping, and found out you can make small protector sliding movements to assist the spread of the adhesive, as well as check for best alignment. Double, triple checked adhesive at the edges, gently wiping the edge with the wet screen cloth provided. Once edges looked good, I began initial curing. *Pay attention to the edges WHILE curing, also*. I started at the bottom, working my way up the phone. Noticed adhesive bulging out from the top edge, paused curing to wipe it - It was already cured from semi-exposure of the uv light, but I could have caught it in time. Attempted to trim the adhesive again thinking it wasn't fully cured - Small chip in the adhesive by the corner. Long story short - Take your time, do this when you will not have distractions, and pay close attention to the edges throughout the entire process. Wipe the edges gently with the alcohol swab as soon as you see adhesive popping out. Keep initial curing to about 3-5 seconds per zone to avoid adhesive popping out from curing pressure. Don't forget the long curing cycle afterward. Of course try to keep your screen clean before setting the protector down, but don't sweat miniscule particles, as the adhesive will seal them in and they can disappear. This kit can likely hide scratches in the screen due to its fluid adhesive. The dust absorber comes in super handy - Hold the small end and just dab the big end on the phone screen to remove dust! Be patient. It's a great system! I wish I'd have known these things, as I'm picky about my screens and will now have to buy another kit so I can do this right. (Did wife's phone after mine, went perfect. Same kit brand.) Worth every penny when you do it right. Hope this helps someone.

Works as a protector but still no go on the fingerprint reader!! ARGH
Product is good, went on fairly easy though I had some adhesive come out and get on my hands. Had 1 big bubble form as the adhesive spread around one small area, had to move the glass up and down in order to get the bubble out but that introduced smaller ones. This is by no means because of the product but more of my own doing. Bubbles finally came out though. Tried some suggestions to partially dry the ends with the UV light and then pressing firmly where the fingerprint reader would be, and then allow UV to completely dry the rest out with recommended times. Adhesive was still coming out even though it was supposed to be dry, so I let it dry longer under UV. Love the glass, especially with no round circle to signify the fingerprint reader. As for the fingerprint reader, NO GO. I thought this was going to be the one, but nope. Out of 5 attempts are getting my thumb print to be read, it only went to 13% one time but never even finished that one. I give up on the fingerprint security option! Unless someone has a 100% foolproof solution to get it to work, I'm over it. At the minimum, I have screen glass protection (with no bubbles) for my Note 10+. I love the feel of the glass, my last few phones I kept getting bubbles under the film or dust under the tempered glass protector, drove me nuts! Anyway, I'm done for now.
