Here is the good and bad of it.The good:- The ball stuck VERY well to the velcro on the hand pads.- The ball was small so it was good for my 4 year old niece's hands.- It comes with a nice little net bag that everything fits into nicely for when you are done.The bad:- The set was made for people with smaller hands. The velcro that you put your hands in is set to extend to a point and then stop. I guess that is made to prevent the velco from getting stuck inside the pad, but if an adult wants to play with a kid, you have to give this a good yank in order to be able to get your hand in the velcro.- The ball is VERY hard. I figured it would be like a tennis ball where it's solid but can still be squeezed some. This was like throwing a rock. I worried a lot about the ball hitting my niece's head since she is still learning to catch and isn't very good at it.- The ball being smaller is good for smaller hands, but it also makes it harder for less experienced catchers to get the ball (less surface area for the pad to grab on to).- I don't think "Two larges hand pads" (that's how they write it in the description) were very large at all. There are definitely much larger sets out there.If you have older kids who catch and throw well, this may be OK and definitely a great travel set thanks to its smaller size.
