This bowl is great. It holds a lot of water. Our dog seems to like it. We need a bowl for land and boat and transitioning between the two. Our previous travel water device was still proof and held water sealed. Unfortunately it leaked when lifting up and our dog hated the small drinking hole. This has neither of those issues. I wish the bottom were thicker so it was more stiff. I empty it when moving it because it gets a little floppy. Seems wasteful to me. That’s why it’s good for travel if it’s going to sit in one spot, but if you’re moving, like hiking, it will need to be empty and then filled with a lot of water when you stop.

My dog is a large Golden. I use this for water inside his carrier in the car or motorhome. I also use it as his water dish when we're at a campsite, both inside and outside. It's deep enough to keep him from splashing when he drinks too,. It's too large to carry in a backpack (use a folding or collapsible bowl for that). For easier cleaning, I use a bottle brush to get into the corners and under the lip.

This bowl was fantastic for us to take on a road trip with two dogs (huskies). The bowl held up well and kept the water inside the bowl. Once the dogs were done drinking we emptied the bowl and tossed it in the back of the truck with the dogs. Dogs stood on it and no tears very durable.

Bowl works great. I’m careful to not allow my dog to ride in the back on warm days but on cooler days he enjoys riding and I use the bowl (with ice water in it) to keep him hydrated.

Great product but if your dog is a chewer it will not hold up. Love the bowl though.

The wide base makes this bowl perfect for the Jeep. My pup isn't prone to pawing her bowls, and even in tight turns its never tipped or slid around. The opening keeps sloshing water IN the bowl and big enough to drink from. Good in heat and in the sun. I add ice when it's in the sun for too long because, as science has proven, the water will get hot.Obviously can be used in hotels or camping trips. Super easy to clean.This is not pup proof - it can be flipped by a pawing pup and can be chewed through.

We had one of these for three years of RV travel and loved the non-spill benefits. However, it was no match for our one year old Brittany who was bored , penned up on our back deck. Definitely bought a new one, but only will use while camping.
