These lights are great. I have 1 in a lightless closet, 1 in a room where the light switch is not close to a door - it lights the room enough to find said light switch and a couple under cabinets (although they will go out if you don’t keep moving as they work with motion.) Works great in all theses situations.If you are a renter though it is very hard to remove the metal plate that the magnet on the back of the light attaches to. My suggestion is to buy a product called Undu which Amazon also sells. It temporarily makes the adhesive unstick. The great thing about this is that not only does Undu get the plate off your wall but the adhesive is only temporarily unsticky which means you can move the metal plate if you decide you don’t like where you put it. Undu is also found at some craft stores and scrap booking stores.

I use them on my stairs so I don't have to turn the light on and wake everyone up. They're nice and bright and they detect the motion right away. By the time I get to my kitchen, they've already turned off. I likes them so much I bought another set for my RV. I have a 5th wheel and my bedroom is upstairs so I always worry that I'll forget about the stairs in the middle of the night and go tumbling down. These are perfect. I highly recommend them.

I would have given this five stars but one only has four bulbs that light up thus it is not as bright as the others. They are right out of the package and have brand new batteries installed. I even tried changing the batteries in the one that does not light up fully and it still only has 3 of 4 bulbs lit.They do detect motion very well. I am prone to power outages and have placed one on my refrigerator (magnetic strip is fantastic). When it is dark it will detect motion from across the room if no other lights are on. I have placed one in my closet and it lights up as soon as I open the closet door. The third one and the less bright of the 3 I have placed in a large cabinet and it goes on as soon as I open the cabinet door. Ideally I wish they came in a pack of 4 because I do have need for one more.They stay on for 20 seconds but if motion is detected when they turn off they will come right back on. 20 seconds is good for my uses. Would BP be nice to have a replacement for the one that is defective. Overall they are small, lightweight, bright lights that can be placed just about anywhere. If you have metal surfaces you won’t even the the sticky adhesive pad that comes with them. Good design.

The media could not be loaded. I got these for my daughters play kitchen to make it more realistic. Perfect size and perfect brightness. If you have a bigger room like a closet, I'd say these are more like nightlight rather than seeing what you want to wear for the day. Gave adhesive a 4 because it lost its stickiness, easy fix but for UT to come with it, they could do better. :)

Perfect for inside RV cupboards that need a bit of light inside when cupboard is opened! We also put one on the bathroom counter leaned against the wall in the RV to provide light for middle-of-the-night trip to the bathroom. We've also used one in the RV hall to light the stairs for middle of the middle-of-night trip to let the dog out to potty. The motion sensor makes it nice to have light without groping for switches. Being LED makes the batteries last a long time while providing a sufficient amount of light to be useful. small and lightweight makes it good for travel too.

I know from the bad reviews that this product will sometimes arrive DOA or break soon after purchased but if your lucky, it does work as advertised. The magnet on the device is simply too small and weak to hold well so what I did was bought some flat neodymium magnets to place between the regular mounting plate and the device and they hold well now. So far the batteries have held up and the light is bright enough to use and it does motion detect well. All 3 are still working for me after a few months. The question will be - will this handle the winter months even though under cover? I'll let you know.

Definitely recommend to anyone who is trying to light up a dark area in the house or around it. For me it was just my closet because my lamp is on the opposite side of the room and I was unable to see my clothes when I got dressed at night. Two lights were efficient in my closet and I am able to see everything and the sensor works perfectly and they both turn on at the same time and shut off on their own usually about a minute or two later.

Every closet in my house has a ceiling light EXCEPT the closet next to the front door. Drove me crazy! No way to direct light into it. Had to use a flashlight to find the right coat or shoes. Took a chance on these. Mounted them to the wall on either side of the door. NOW I CAN FIND EVERYTHING AS SOON AS I REACH IN. Love the way they automatically come on with motion. Such a small thing has eliminated a ton of aggravation. Love them!
