I loved this as a library book so I bought my own copy! I use it for my 9 year old home-schooled son to supplement our science curriculum Easy, clear instructions without a lot of unusual supplies. Each experiment lists supplies, what to do, results, and why it happens. We also use it in our home school co-op for 9-11 year olds. I would recommend it and purchase it again.

Great experiments for kids. Using as reference for Cub Scout activities.

Lost my original copy. Used it in the classroom to give students the opportunity to do small informative class demonstrations.

This is a good book of categorized science activities, but if you are looking for "science as inquiry" activities, you'd have to put a lot of thought into how to modify the experiments in this book.

We thought that this would be an excellent take-along to play dates. And it works. The book is exciting and the kids love and enjoy all of the experiments. Thank you.

We already owned 365 Simple Science Experiments and ts fantastic and so it seemed a no brainer to buy this. A great buy for young enquiring minds. I found it easy to introduce complex physics concepts like forces, magnetism and so on without language that my 5 year old would not possibly understand yet.
