I liked the ease of use, the size, the colored area to show the time ticking. Only con is the buzzer could be a little louder. I will keep it!

Weird, but very effective.Exactly what I was after because the psychology of a ticking clock is a constant reminder of limited time to get something done. The big face with the red count-down is a great visual. together, the kids have the relief that there is a definite end to their work time. I say: “When the timer is done, daddy will inspect the room to see how much you did in 15 minutes. Then we’ll see about (insert whatever).” Works good on myself, too, when I’m in a slump. HahaDetails:roughly as big, round, as my hand is spread out. Magnet isn’t super strong… but I’ve read reviews of others where magnets have fallen off. This magnet looks/feels quite secure. Sticks to fridge just fine. Easy to turn the dial even when stuck to fridge. The folding leg is nice to put on table top. Kind of stays folded open so it won’t flip closed on you. Pretty ridged and will stay up well. The tick sound is loud enough to notice… quiet enough to not be a pester or to drown out with loud music (to me). The alarm is not very loud. It is a short alarm sound. Not annoying. It could be just a TAD louder for me… but it’s great if you have others living with you so you don’t drive them nuts.All in all… good buy. This timer is BIG, making it easy to read without glasses or from a distance. If not for the loud tick while in use, it might be perfect for a classroom. Works fine as a kitchen timer, but the bell ring is not as loud as hoped. This model has no volume control; it's a very basic mechanical timer. Feels cheap (doubt it would survive being dropped), and it seems overpriced for what it is.

Amazing tool for small children. It is much larger than I expected but it works great. I have been using this with my 3 year old to help him transition between tasks. It has made a huge difference, with him being able to see how much time he has, since at 3 they have no concept of time. He hasn’t had a tantrum when it’s been time to leave or clean up toys since we started using it!

This is perfect for time outs at my house. No more yelling I just simply walk over and set a time depending on what punishment my 3,7,or 10 is facing. This is also great for getting their chores done. It’s easy for me to read and easy for my kids to understand. Simple and has my life easier.

We were having a lot of trouble getting ready for school in the morning (5 & 6 year olds)... lots of drama and nagging. This clock has helped tremendously. Provides a very visual representation of how much time is left to motivate tasks to get done. Highly recommend to anyone else in this situation!
