For the price and the room size (20' x 16) it does it's job just fine.As seen in the pic, I just slapped it in the window, put some poorly fitted styrofoam to block the gap to try it out and I'd say within 20 min it knocked the temp down from 85-ish to 75-ish (I'll properly install/seal it later ofc).It's not loud at all...I mean, you'll hear it but it's about the sound of a regular floor fan on low. (No kidding, it's just "on", no big deal).If it lasts oh, I'd say two years (two seasons) it'd be worth. (I'd hope it lasts longer but we'll see)Pretty light and compact enough so it's not hard to move around to fit it to window or remove if/when needed.Remote is handy. Not a selling point, but it's convenient.So yea...Like I said, does it's job for a smallish room and is not noisy and is a good price.:)

It looks bigger than the picture. Its not that heavy. I love the remote and touch screen. Its a powerful little thing. You can tell the different fan speed and cooling feature is great. I am using this AC with my solar panels and 1000W Inverter and it works flawlessly. The unit using very low W just the fan. ECO cooling is about 400W. With full cooling is 430w. With med fan speed. 450 w for full blast. Noise level is great. I have no problem with it. I slept like a baby so its fine. You can set timmer so it gives battery a break and maintain room coolness. Just a great machine overall. I am buying my 2nd one today that tell you something.

i bought this last summer. it has worked well and cools our 20x15 bedroom easily. very quiet. easy to install. doesn't remember settings if you lose power...and i don't like the feature that it always defaults to energy saving mode when you turn it on. we like the background noise of the fan when not cooling, so have to disable this mode every time we turn it on. the fan speed could be higher when not cooling. overall seems to be a good dependable product

I love it. Keeps my one bedroom apartment cool. Easy to install.

So far, so good. I haven't had any problems with it. I was a little hesitant because of a few bad reviews I saw but I decided to buy it. I'm just going to guess and say there is a possibility that the people with bad reviews got a defective unit to begin with. My unit works like a charm. It cools my room off fairly quickly. It's quiet minus when the compressor kicks on but that doesn't bother me. The remote works. I like that it tells you the temperature in the room. Overall it's a very good product. I'm glad I purchased it.

This a/c I have to say came pack just fine, I like that it's very quiet and works fine. Got my room cold in a half hour. They only thing I dislike was you can't move the vents but overall works fine been running it at 69 degrees and I'm truly satisfied,, by the way I got the 5000 btu, price was decent. Thank you again...

It worked well for the first couple months, then the small problems started showing. Fan making noise etc. Then around 7 months in it just completely stopped working all together. Just save youe money and spend a little more on a better a/c unit.

Even on high barely moves air most air comes out right side . Let's sunlight thru vent extremely alot. Even for small bedroom air is quiet but hardly cools.

Heureusement que c'est vrai parce que c'est pour ma chambre à coucher. Mais puisque les 3 canicules de cet été sont finis, je l'aurai pour la canicule de décembre.

the unit is well constructed , arrived promptly and worked excellent right out of the box. Easy to install in a window and excellent chill down ability.

Double-check the measurements of your windows! This unit was ever so slightly too big for what my window was built to handle, however with a bit of sodering and cutting back the widow frame I in the end did manage to get it nestled into the parameters of my windowsill.Compared to other A/C units I've purchased around this pricepoint the look of this one find is more appealing, sleek, appears to be built better, and performs well enough for the needs in which I bought it.The installation (apart from the extra work i had to put into removing a small strip off my window frame to slide it into its proper position was more or less straight forward. Due to its weight you will need an extra set of helping hands to faciliate the job smoothly as it is quite heavy and cumbersome to attempt installation on your own!The remote control is a nice added feature that conviently allows you to adjust the mode settings and temperature or turn the unit on / off with ease of access and is a nice feature to have added within!Overall, I am so far pleased with the performance and find the price point was fair.I am hopeful that it will continue to work well for at least a few summer seasons before having to consider replacing it as other products I have found at this price point work well for 1 and then the performance and durability and functionality of the airflow and temperature begins to falter -- fingers crossed for this one to prove to be superior in actuality as it does in aesthetics! Will update next summer if it doesn't hold up!

This low energy unit is perfect for an off the grid system. It works amazingly well and uses very little power. I love it.
