First of all I appreciate Plant Therapy as a company. Their products are great. I own some of their essential oils and they are of high quality. I purchased this product because I was having a procedure done to my face (yes, I am blonde, lived before sunscreen was used and am dealing with the consequences). The after effects were not going to be pleasant and I was looking for something to sooth and help heal while giving me some relief. I believe this fit the bill, we all know that aloe is beneficial on it's own but adding pure essential oils to the mix is what caught my attention. Lavender is known for promoting the healing of skin (helping with scars, bruises, and burns). I have lavender but since this is from a company I trust and already has it mixed, I opted to try this product.As a note, I kept it in the refrigerator and it helped even further with the cooling!And I didn't get the 2 weeks of healing that they said I would have, most of my healing was done well within 7 days which was incredible!I will always have some of this on hand in the refrigerator for life's unexpected twists (burns in the kitchen, scrapes, etc!)

Very disappointed to find carrageenan on the ingredient list.

This stuff makes the BEST hand sanitizer! Living in an arid climate, washing hands constantly leaves my hands so dry, even when I use a thick lotion each time, that by the time I go to bed, my hands look like I'm trying to get my name listed in Guinness for the highest number of scratches on a pair of hands. This lavender aloe gel actually repairs the damage, and smells amazing, too! Aromatherapy and practicality in one amazing product

This is perfect for bug bites, sunburns, dry skin or just to help me sleep

The price is rather expensive, but worth it!

I love the combination of lavender and aloe. It smells beautiful, and sooths my skin. I almost always fall asleep after putting it on. Just allow time for your skin to dry before crawling into bed or getting dressed, because until it dries it can be a wee bit sticky.
