This book isn't worth your time or money
Firstly, this book is a companion book and requires "The complete Mediterranean diet for beginners" in order to be useful. Secondly this book is not useful for learning HOW to meal prep. It only gives you a list to follow, which is a great for short term goals I guess, but terrible if your trying to learn the skill. This book is very slim and its clear the author was just trying to fill space most of the time. Its a waste of money and paper honestly.

Good book. Good recipes. Good gift.
Bought for 23 and 25 year old kids. Purchased with the meal prep containers. They have both made several recipes and love the book. They are used to online recipes, but really like to have the paper copy.

Disappointing
Unfortunately I had to return this. There were no pictures (which is a big no for me when it comes to cookbooks.) It almost felt like what you would print out on your home computer or something...

To fancy
I was looking for every day meal planning. This uses foods that at least for the Midwest are more upscale.

Not even worth borrowing for free
This is a book that falls into the “lists of things” genre and starts with the assumption that you want to plan meals to lose weight. There are lists of basic nutritional facts, a list of reasons you want to be on a Mediterranean diet, a list of kitchen equipment, a list of stuff you want in your pantry, a list of cooking terms, a list of random shopping advice, charts of plans with nutritional info, and lists of quasi “Mediterranean” recipes. What is not included is any discussion of the logistics of actual meal planning and preparation or how to scale for different numbers of people or how to deal with leftovers. If you actually follow the recipes in the book, you’ll find yourself with a lot of leftover ingredients like, for instance, half an avocado. There are recipes that make unreasonably large amounts, like complicated tuna sandwiches for six, with no suggestions for scaling the recipe or storing leftovers.Overall, this book feels like the author has never cooked a meal in his life, but has just assembled a bunch of information found elsewhere.
