So easy to use. Fantastic
Ok. Now this product is so easy to use, and everything cooks to perfection.Roast dinner' dinner today.Dont expect to put a full meal in and ta dah!!Its to help cut costs, and it does. I started with a 2lb joint of beef room temp, started it on pre heat Turned it up for 20, then foil on, pause it for 10, cook for 10, untill you are happy.I did a joint of lamb after,1lb same process ps i upped the temp +lowered the temp. It is very versital ,browns lovely. Like using an oven you check.Whilst this is cooking i have my oven on at the lowest setting 10 mins before (Af) is at the end of meat cycle. When happy with meat place in oven. Same with roast pots I think you have to! since the old hostess trolly.I have a steamer. I started my potatoes off, 1/2 for mash, rest for roasties from scratch, roasties finish fantastic in AF. As roasties are cooking i steamed my veg.In all it took me an hour to cook, and it all came together great. 2 mins to clean aswell. What i am trying to say is. It would of been 2hrs oven, 3 gas rings on the go, 40 tea towels for the washer. And one tired daddy. Cooked it for my little girl. We got to see Mary Poppins aswell.Just done chicken wings in Af. I took the basket out and lined the outer basket with foil to catch the fat. 25mins Superb!! Still 2mins to clean.Omelette! Take your time be patient and yes it works, i cooked tomatoes first on preheat (180), added the eggs (3) cooked for 5 mins added some cheese 3 mins, came out lovely and fluffy. Cooked brekkie win win. I want to fault it but i can't.Be confident with it, keep an eye on it, enjoy it. I have used my gas oven maybe twice in 2 weeks now. Would recommend to buy the extra trays and racks, but foil is as good.

Great Air Fryer!
Great Air Fryer and super easy to use with multiple cooking options. The size is perfect for a family of 4. Easy to clean too! We have had it for over 2 years and the other day the handle broke (which I figured seems to be a common issue) - contacted Cosori and the support was brilliant! We received a replacement basket within 3 days! Overall a fantastic and affordable Air Fryer that I would highly recommend!

Reliable and efficient
I paid over £100 for this, the 5.5l version, back in 2022. Now it is even better value! I use it almost daily and now never use the main oven. I use it for baking part-cooked baguettes, salmon in foil, chicken, baking flatbread, etc.I'm sure I just scratch the surface of what can be done in it and am trying to experiment more. For example, I'm going to try a chicken traybake tonight, which I've never attempted because of the permanent basket. But I now realise that is not a problem because the juices that accumulate can be poured over the meal when served! Edit: the traybake was delicious! There are just the two of us, so our needs are slight but I find that I can make almost any meal using my quartet of Airfryer, microwave, hob and slow cooker. There have been other reviews questioning the life of the catch that keeps the bottom container attached to the main basket and handle, but I have not found it to be a problem. Obviously it is a weakness but the bottom container is never loaded up, and it's still going strong over two years later. The main reason for buying the air fryer was energy cost-savings and it has certainly done that. Along with other economies, we managed to reduce (and maintain) our electricity use by 25%I wholeheartedly recommend this air fryer. It is easy to operate, especially using the short-cut programme buttons. It is easy to keep clean. it cooks rapidly and completely.Even though it is now 30% cheaper than when I bought it, I still think it was a bargain. In fact, I'm now following the various Cosori-users Facebook groups to expand my use of it.

A True Game-Changer.
The media could not be loaded. I was not particularly sold on the concept of air-fryers, which is why I did not consider purchasing one when they first became popular a few years ago. Recently, after a family member was in hospital for a while and I was doing the daily 3+ hour commute to see them, my healthy eating habits slowly went out the window in favor of quick meals because I was too tired to prepare anything in the evenings. Two separate nurses who were caring for them mentioned to me on different occasions how good their air fryers were for getting quick and healthy meals ready fast.I purchased this Cosori Smart Air-Fryer four days ago after a lot of research. I wasn't expecting that much -- maybe it would be able to cook some frozen stuff faster than my oven, but I didn't expect it to revolutionize the way I made meals.Yet it absolutely has, after only a few days.Set-up was very easy. I took the air fryer out of the box, gave the inside of the cooking chamber a wipe with a warm soapy cloth and washed both the top and bottom air fryer baskets in warm soapy water, rinsed them and dried them well. Pro tip: You can finish drying your air fryer baskets in the air fryer once you've given them an initial dry with a clean tea towel. I do mine at 200C for 5 minutes.First thing I cooked was a medium sweet potato I had on hand. I love roasted sweet potato, but I would usually save making it for when I am making a Sunday roast dinner. The Cosori air fryer was able to take my sweet potato from raw to perfectly roasted in about 13-15 minutes. I peeled the sweet potato and cut it into 1 inch cubes, tossed it in a teaspoon of olive oil and seasoned it with little salt. I lined the air fryer basket with parchment paper that I had snipped little cuts in to assist with air flow and cooking. I cooked the sweet potato at 200C for about 14-15 minutes. Halfway through the cooking cycle, I opened the basket, gave it a good shake and replaced the basket to finish the cooking. The result was a sweet potato that was deliciously tender in the middle and lovely and roast-y on the outside. I have also cooked frozen mixed peppers in the air fryer (200c for 8-10 min) with similarly excellent results.Next thing I tried cooking was scrambled egg. Some mornings when I want a breakfast that will keep me going through until dinner, I will have a protein rich meal like scrambled egg in a breakfast burrito. I beat two eggs well, and added them to a shallow dish that I had greased with a little bit of olive oil. I cooked the mixture at 175C for about 3-5 minutes, stirred it and put it back in for another 3 minutes. When the cooking was complete, I noticed that the eggs were ever so slightly overdone for my liking. Doing this much egg for one person was the only thing I have found that took longer in the air fryer than on the stove top. I would normally cook my scrambled egg in a tiny 5 inch, two-egg sized pan and it takes all of three minutes to get it just how I like it. I would only cook them for another minute when making this again, but it was still very serviceable if the air fryer was your only way of cooking.I tried hash browns next. I love hash browns as a treat sometimes, but I HATE how greasy they can be with deep frying. The Cosori handled the hash browns with ease, and gave me perfectly golden, crunchy and fluffy hash browns in around 12 minutes at 200C.I was nervous about using an air fryer, but the simplicity of making meals in the Cosori air fryer has re-awakened my love of trying out new dishes. The display is easy to read, bright, and clearly set out, with no superfluous buttons that would confuse or frustrate first time air fryer cooks. I'm the sort that will read the manual cover-to-cover, but if you're more of a fly by the seat of your pants type, you can easily dive in here without much preparation. I will say, however, to make sure you follow the directions on the machine stickers that tell you to remove ALL the plastic wrapping/stickers, etc from the air fryer, including the plastic inside the basket before cooking. Another safety must: NEVER PUT ANY PAPER OR FOIL IN THE AIR FRYER DURING THE PRE-HEATING CYCLE. It can catch fire and would be extremely dangerous if left unattended. (I can't believe the amount of foolish people who have written reviews of air fryers and said how surprised they were when the PAPER they put in their machine without any food on it CAUGHT FIRE. 🤡🤡🤡)I like nearly everything about this machine and what it does. As someone who is very sensitive to loud noise, I normally go out of my way to find products that are on the quieter side, especially those that have the QuietMark certification. I was very relieved when I first used the air fryer to realize that the noise it makes when it is cooking is manageable for me, and not overly loud. (Watch my short video for an idea of how it sounds when cooking). The only thing that I haven't found that useful (yet) is the smart feature. Having already owned an air purifier made by Cosori's sister company, LEVOIT, I was really jazzed to see that I could add the air fryer to the VeSync app for my and take advantage of the smart settings. So far I haven't been able to get the app to connect to my air fryer, but I think it's more an issue with my router's persnickety 2.4GHz network than any issues with the air fryer or the app.So after only four days, I'm 100% in the "air fryers are great!" camp. I'm looking forward to trying out more favorites in my Cosori Smart air fryer in the coming days and weeks and I will update here with more information as I become better skilled at cooking with this fantastic little machine.***Update: 01 March, 2024***Having used this for almost an entire month now, I’ve figured out what cooks well, what I like about it and what I don’t. Luckily there is very little I don’t like about this air fryer and my initial thoughts have mostly been correct. One of my hands-down favorite things to make is my own French fries/chips. I never thought that “made at home” chips could be so delicious — unless they were cooked in a conventional fryer. I was thrilled to be proven wrong. I will never buy store bought frozen chips again! If I wipe out the basket & drawer with a damp, lightly soapy cloth after cooking and give it a decent rinse and dry, I find it can be used for a few days before *needing* a deep clean via the dishwasher. The dishwasher does a great job when it does need a better clean, yet I wonder if cleaning it in the dishwasher will make the non-stick coating wear off sooner. In addition to home made chips, Salmon, broccoli and Brussel sprouts have also been some new favorite things to cook with the air fryer. I’ve been using small and medium size foil trays to cook foods together and make meal prep all the easier and faster. (I use foil trays only when I am in a terrible hurry or am too arthritic to wash a pyrex dish. It’d get very expensive otherwise.)One of the small negatives that has occurred in the last 3.5 weeks is a wear pattern has appeared on the underside of the drawer from pulling the AF basket & drawer in and out. I was a little bit 🤨 when I initially noticed this. I am not someone who is heavy handed and I do make an effort to look after my belongings so this was a surprise. (Check out my photos to see the wear pattern.)The other small negative is how loud the beeping is. On my first few uses, I didn’t notice the beeping so much. Having used it for a bit longer I noticed the beeping quite a bit more, especially since I live in an apartment and have neighbors all around me. When the midnight munchies strike and you’re cooking up some sweet potato fries, the beeping can sound a lot louder than it does during regular hours! Something to be aware of if you have neighbors very close by or family members who are sensitive to loud sounds. Not a negative, per se, but just something to know: I purchased the smart version of this air fryer that came with wifi. In all the time I’ve had the air fryer, I’ve used the app notification system once. If you are in two minds about which version of this air fryer to get, I’m confident in recommending the non-smart version to 99% of folks. I’d recommend the smart version only to people who are really eager to try out the smart features/app for themselves AND who need 64,000 reminders to stop what they’re doing and go eat dinner! All in all, I am still very pleased with my purchase of this Cosori air fryer. It’s become my favorite kitchen appliance, even usurping the kettle and the espresso machine! Now that’s some serious magic. Well done, Cosori!**UPDATE: OCTOBER 2024**2 weeks ago I was washing my air fryer's outer basket. All of a sudden one of the inside screws that holds the basket to the front fascia fell out of its hole and down the sink. Oh no!I emailed Cosori's support team and explained the situation, asking if they could please send me a replacement screw for my air fryer basket. After providing them with photos of the issue, along with my original receipt and mailing address. After a few more emails back and forth the very friendly support agent Anita let me know that Cosori were sending me out A WHOLE NEW BOTTOM BASKET for my air fryer. I couldn't believe it! A few days later my replacement basket arrived by courier.I couldn't be happier with Cosori's customer service and I am very thankful to them for sorting out a replacement part so quickly so I could get back to using my favorite kitchen appliance -- my Cosori Air Fryer.
