When I needed this to work it failed. Ruined my king size mattress. My sons pull-up leaked and there was not only a water spot left on the mattress pad but it soaked and stained the king size mattress underneath as well. Entire point of a mattress cover is to protect the mattress. I have one of these on every bed in the house and will be replacing them all once I find a truly waterproof mattress cover/pad.

In order to truly evaluate one of my grandchildren has to have an accident on my new mattress. So we'll see. I do like that it seems to be fabric when it is on the bed. Upon further site I see that it seems to have a plastic backing. The question is, will it hold pee if that happens. I do not pre-wash bedding before use, preferring the new crispness of a new item, so I didn't test it. I am sure it will work the first time. After all, that's what the package says it will do. If it does not work I'll be sure to let you know.

This was not only a great value but really has proved to be water proof. I got mine in queen and it really covered the mattress well with deep corners. I spilled coffee on my bed and the pad caught it all and saved my mattress.

I ordered the wrong size, BUT it worked out well because the quality of the mattress pad was not what I wanted for my terminally ill husband. I spent a little bit more money with a different manufacturer and got exactly what I was looking for. It was very thin, slippery on the bed, and did not look like it would hold up to the frequent washings that it will require. My error resulted in a much better purchase in the long run.

First thing, I lowered a star because there are no washing instructions with the cover. You have to go back to the web site and find them. They should really have included them on a label with the cover.Based on appearance only, it seems to be a decent quality pad that I would recommend. Time will tell.

Price and value above expectations. The protector is well made with a soft terry cover and an elastic skirt that easily covers an 18" mattress securing not only the cover but also my topper. The protector does not make any noise when movement on the mattress/topper. This cover was well priced and a good value for the money. I would buy again.

This is the second one I bought. For when the first one is being laundered. We have an old little 14lb dog that was sick, and occasionally vomit on the bed. So, this is absolutely necessary to have. But when we were having to strip the bed every other night, this extra one was a god send!

I give it 5 stars! It is water resistant and very soft and comfy and its easy to clean...If you have kids or pets this is great and cheap..although i do give it 5 stars mine did shrink after drying it twice in the dryer...i will be buying another one but ill be letting it air dry with this one.

FITS GREAT (QUEEN SIZE), IT HAS A SOFT CLOTH THAT KEEPS FITTED SHEETS FROM PULLING OUT AT THE CORNERS. NOT SURE ABOUT THE WATERPROOF ABILITY, HAVEN'T TRIED THAT YET AND THE UNDERSIDE SEEMS TO BE A TIGHT THREADED MATERIAL. PREVIOUS BRANDS HAVE NOT BEEN AS COMFORTABLE, BUT HAD A SOFT PLASTIC UNDERSIDE.

The cover is a towel like material not at all what the product like product description! So disappointed with this buy!
