If you need a usable gps look elsewhere
First issue with mounting,There is no quick release from mount. It snaps hard into slots and removes even harder. So you have to remove it by releasing the suction cup and that’s NOT GOOD!With in the first hour I had to keep resetting the time/clock because the arrival time was off by an hour -(reset) then 5 hours -(reset) then two hours - (reset)To reset time you must stop navigationThen brightness kept getting dimmer and dimmer, never could get it bright enough to actually see the display during daylight. And yes I had it set on daytime. To reset almost anything you have to stop navigating.Next, you have to first enter an address to find your business your going to, it forgets the city and makes you scan through businesses from all over the state!!!!THIS IS NOT USER FRIENDLYI have used google maps, Magellan gps, Tom Toms, Waze and owned 2 GarminsThis one is truly not user friendly. The current speed limit is not displayed on the navigation screen. the only time you actual see the speed limit OR your current speed on map is if you go over the speed then it pops up and stays on until your back under the speed limit. Then disappears again. Then the voice navigation instructions just disappeared. And it had me leaving a paved road I was on to take me on tree miles of gravel road to get on another paved road, when I could have stayed on the paved road I was on to get me to another paved road without adding miles to trip! No reason what so ever for that.WHY ???I think if they would just put the development into a good navigation system instead of providing a game, calculator, movie player, music library and everything else they loaded up on this gps!!Almost like it’s a personal electronic device they thought would be cool to add a gps to.It’s going back to seller!!!

Ok
Pros:-Inexpensive-extra features-accurateCons:-have to back out of the map just to adjust brightness (backing out requires exiting the app)-A little unresponsive-unable to remove screen clutter when using GPS-no instructions

Worth the money
This is not an expensive GPS. I bought this to travel to Ireland because it would cost me money to use my phone data internationally (I'm American) and it worked great for me. Ireland is not a super easy place to navigate. The addresses are weird, but this thing got us there. I could type in an attraction and it worked wonders. I was very pleased with it.I only took off a star because there is a learning curve to this thing. I had to download the European map system and put it on the device. It required contacting their customer service. Their customer service is FAN-TAS-TIC, but admittedly I would have preferred consulting a well done manual.Perks I enjoyed but didn't expect:1. It warned us when speed cameras were coming up and when we were speeding. Really had our backs.2. The conversion calculator built into it. As Americans who don't use the metric system, it was great to have a conversion to kilometers, celcius, etc. on hand.3. Country information that told you what the speed limit was for motorways, city roads, etc. Great when we hadn't seen a speed limit sign for awhile.4. You could select for the map to show you where gas stations, restaurants, accommodations, and attractions were along your route. Also great when you're in a country where your phones don't work. This GPS was great for $50-60. If I had spent $100 on it, I would have been frustrated. It's a great GPS, but it's not as great as your Apple maps in terms of touchscreen and finding food/accommodations/attractions. But I would recommend buying this if you want to save money and get a reliable GPS.

Waste of Money
We've had multiple Garmins over the years, so are used to using GPS navigation devices. My spouse had so much trouble using this device during a long trip, it greatly increased his travel time. The navigation was inaccurate, the user interface interactions were oddly devised, and we will be switching to another device. What a waste of money.

Doesn't work. GPS freezes
It has several apps that could be useful to some I suppose. Like a calculator, a couple games, music player. But the reason I bought this was for the GPS to go hiking with bc my phone doesn't have service on the trails I go to. Unfortunately as soon as I type in the address, it says GPS lost. I would not work at all. I drive 15 miles and it was froze the entire time. Don't waste your money. Plus all the directions in the box were in German.

Brightness is a big issue.
I bought this GPS and when I tried to use it in my car the brightness was at such low levels that I cant see the screen on a cloudy day (forget about the sunny day). I'm returning it tomorrow. The brightness level was 100% but still, I couldn't see anything while driving.Thank You!

Find another brand and just forget this thing. .
Very, very difficult to use. Instructions are excessively small, not clear, insufficient of usability. After well over several weeks, I just can't figure this thing out. Worse yet is how much is missing from the owners manual. Complete waste of money.

Cant see detail on screen
The screen is washed out, no contrast between detail and backround. Easy to read in house cannot see anything outside
