Tea Ball Strainer

Beautiful set that infuses and strains teas perfectly. I drink a variety of chai and the spices always find a way out of every tea ball and strainer I’ve used until now. The entire lid lifts off so it’s easy to fill and clean. The measuring spoon is a nice addition, as are the little drip trays. I very thing is a nice weight that doesn’t feel cheap or inexpensive at all. Very nice quality. Using these feels so luxurious, like I’m totally pampering myself. Wonderful little addition to my tea time!

A good product

I have been using both sizes almost daily for months. Sure, they're now stained from the loose leaf black and mint tea leaves. But that's okay. These are durably built. They're functional. Hole size seems entirely appropriate as nothing but tea comes through. They come with handy hooked chains so you can fish them from the pot when steeping is done but if you miss and the chain falls in the hot water they are easily retrieved with a spoon or tongs. Easy to clean. No funny taste. Durable. I tuck two small Lipton tea bags (sans strings) in the larger one and then put a scoop of dried mint leaves in the smaller one and set them in a pot of hot water for a while. Find the mix that suits you.

I tried to find an infuser with an extra long wire, but NONE are. the hook does not easily attach to the edge of a mug and is barely long enough to attach to itself if you try to attach it around the mug handle. all that said, it does contain loose leaf tea well - even the smaller bits that often leak through other infusers. The measuring spoon is a nice bonus. the top stay secure and it is easy to clean. haven't noticed any rusting either. so far, so good

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these two strainers are. They have little saucers so there is no drips. The price was great it even came with a small spoon to scoop tea. I highly recommend them. You won’t be disappointed .

Absolutely love these. I use 3 teaspoons of loose leaf daily and these are perfect. I'm pretty new when it comes to herbal teas. I tried a different little cute infuser before. It left a lot of tea residue and I couldn't fit as much tea in it. I've ordered several of these already and will be ordering a few more. I do use the little plates that came with it however it isn't shown in the picture.

These things work great and come with a little tray to put on them, because you know when you take them out of your tea, it takes forever for the water to run out and it's nice to have the little tray to help. Also, the lid stays on really well which is a plus. You need a tea holder thingy, buy this one!

I make my tea by throwing the teaball or infuser into an electric kettle. The problem with teaballs is that they only last about 3 months, and they appear rusted after two months. The teaball latch stops staying closed and then the tea gets out. So, I tried this infuser and it seemed to be working fine and it appears only bronzed after 4 months. However, the threading that holds the lid on appears minimal. After 4 months the lid just doesn't stay on in the kettle and the tea gets out again. I'd gladly pay a dollar more each to see if better threading would make this infuser last years.
