Indie Boards & Cards IBCFPTE01 Flash Point: Fire Rescue-Tragic Events, Mixed Colours

This is a great game once you’ve played it and really understand what you’re doing. The rules are long, but once you know what you’re doing it’s great! I’ve bought a few of the other games in the series too now.

I've played pretty much all of the Flash Point expansions - a friend has everything that exists for it - and this was the only one I ran out and bought. It replaces the confusing and frankly garbage Hotspot mechanic with a deck of cards which operate in similar fashion to the infection deck in Pandemic.Another reviewer mentioned the neutral coloured minis. There is another expansion - I think Extreme Danger? Could be wrong - which replaces the game's standard minis with more of these and attachable coloured bases so you can more easily tell who is who.The minis are fairly pointless beyond a bit of bling really, the meat of this expansion is the event deck, so it's expensive for what it is (and I'm fairly sure it wasn't anything like £30 when I bought it, I probably paid nearer half that) but if you like a bit of Flash Point then I couldn't imagine playing without it.
