Easy install - just what was needed!
I needed a low voltage cut off for some upgrades to a kids ride on toy I was doing using an 18v battery that needed a low voltage cut off. This works a treat. You are able to set your own cut off voltage very easily via the app that connects via bluetooth so it doesn't matter it's not a 12v or 24v battery that it auto detects (it auto detected the 18v as a 24v and engaged low voltage cut off automatically the first time it was powered on - easily changed in the app though). An expensive solution for a kids toy, but compared to a 12v chineseium low voltage cut off, which would need separate relays to cope with the higher amp load, this is actually not that much more expensive and a darn site easier and neater to install.

Easy to fit. Neat Bluetooth app to control it.
Narrow boat suffered a total failure of leisure batteries, after fridge ran them flat. Recharging just filled the boat with poisonous hydrogen sulphide. So, fitted this device to ensure no repeat. I set it to disconnect at 12V (50% charge approx).

Smart BatteryProtect has an improved range of minimum voltages to set the disconnect.
For me this beats Victron Energies other battery protect, in that it can be set up through bluetooth to a wider range of voltages and above 12volts with my very large lead acid stationary batteries a large battery bank, I set to disconnect at 12.9v and restart at 13 volt, this works well with my current setup. I find theSmart BatteryProtect easy to setup, the best thing about this is I don't need to keep a firm eye on the voltage. If I come home late when the light is lost the most that'll happen is my system has switched off I won't find the batteries so low there life span is reduced. At night I mostly power my home on the mains, so far there has been more than enough power in the batteries to get through a power outage to run my very large fish tank, keep watching TV and have a light on.

Fantastic device for any solar installation.
I don't often write reviews, but on this occasion feel compelled to do so, after I bought the 200a smart Bluetooth system.I have a solar setup with 2 X 200ah lithium batteries in parallel, with 3 X 100w solar panels feeding them, controlled by a TS-MPPT-45 solar controller.I was surprised to find that when the lithium batteries hit LVC, no solar energy would go into recharging the batteries, and instead, the batteries would simply go to sleep. This device overcomes this problem as I can automatically disconnect the load before the batteries hit LVCThe Vitron Smart Protection system is extremely easy to install, and then set up via your phone. It uses BLE Bluetooth so has a super low energy consumption, and as well as a variety of presets for low voltage disconnect / voltage reconnect you can also use your own custom settings.I highly recommend this to anyone who has a solar / battery setup.

One of those things you think you'll never need but..
Its a bit expensive (nearly the price of a small battery itself) but:Easy to installEasy to bypass if you give yourself an extra 5cm of cable. OK you shouldn't do this but sometimes you just have to...Bluetooth is easy, don't use it much but useful for initial set upHas saved me from running a battery completely flat twice in the last 6 months so has paid for itself already.really good for any situation where you have battery maintained by a float charge

Does not disconnect battery when voltage drops
Hi I bought this unit but did not use it for a while because I was waiting on battery delivery.I have fitted one before which was not a smart unit which was ok. Victron have such a good name I took it for granted that it would work. If you buy a battery protect , I would advise you to test it straight away.

Ok but if little use if using an inverter. You need a higher amp version than the 60amp one
Don’t buy the 60amp version. Too weak.

Expensive and not user friendly
Unreliable Bluetooth connection.
