Its a rock solid product, buy it
Typical Williams quality.Fit and finish is perfect.Operation is easy,I find this product serpereior to optics on a lever action 336Pew pew

Perfect fit
Fit perfectly on a 1895 cowboy octagon. The peep was low enough to use the original front sight which is good because the included sights are for the 336 dovetails.

It does not fit the specified gun the bolt holes didn't line up.

Lightweight and very well made!
Excellent product. I have used different Williams sights in the past but I think this is my favorite. It is very lightweight but it is NOT fragile. It fits perfectly on my 1895 Cowboy 45-70. I could not be happier.

Photo wrong - it is an FP-336
Quality sight. Purchased for a Marlin 1895 Cowboy. Initially confused because some reviews said it would fit, but the photo shows a different sight with side to side holes which would not fit a Marlin. However, the photo is wrong and the actual hole pattern is one in front of the other as it should be for that brand of rifle. It installed easily and adjusted perfectly.Admittedly, I have not used it yet, but am sold on Williams sights as they are on two other firearms. The only downside is that neither of the front fire sights included are even close to as tall as the brass bead sight installed from the factory. That said, I suspect they will work fine but the height adjustment would be closer to the bottom.

Easily mounted on my 336
This is a great sight, replaced my scope with this, easily sighted in. Makes for a fast acquisition on the target.

Perfect for a Henry H009 30 30
I mounted this on a Henry H009 30 30 along with a skinner .750" front blade sight (a higher front sight is needed). In my opinion, this is the optimal sighting setup for a lever gun without mounting a scope which really destroys the aesthetics of a lever action rifle. The windage and elevation adjustments are precise and it is easily zeroed-in.

Great sight for modern lever actions.
I've been a fan of Williams sights for years and this sight is of normal excellent quality. Utilizing the scope mount holes is a real plus for the modern lever actions that aren't tapped on the side.
