You have to take the cord out and sideways slide it open to put your information in. When it closes again, only the name will show and you put the cord back on and attach to luggage.

Q: Can you fit a business card in these luggage tags?

yes, if you trim it down. Write your name on the back to show through the window. Personally, with any luggage tag you can just use return address labels that you use on letters on anything that will fit in the unit.
