WELL D98 M1A1 WWII Submachine Gun AEG

My 12 year old son saved up for this gun using the $5 he earns every 2 weeks. It worked perfectly. He loved it. He is 12, so he understands how to take care of his belongings, so this was an item that was always carefully stored in his room. We ordered it on April 18th, 2020 and it was delivered on April 28th. Had no problems until the morning of June 2nd. When he took it out to use it that day, it made a horrible grinding noise and wouldn't shoot anything. It sounds to me like a gear is stripped internally, though I have no idea what could have caused it. Since we were outside of the 30 day return for Amazon, I contacted the seller the next day and after a week received an email back this morning stating there was nothing that could be done except to take it to a local airsoft store to see if it needed a new battery. I know it's not the battery because it is TRYING to cycle. Something is broken internally. Maybe this is a fluke, but it's a tough lesson for a 12 year old who did everything right. Definitely not worth $75 when it only works for a month.

Good but it’s made of plastic

When it worked my kiddo had fun! He barely got a few times out with it, it jammed up and is now broken beyond repair. I’ve reached out to the seller, so will have to wait and see. My kid spent his money on what is essentially useless plastic now. Purchase at your own peril because it will break.

I got this air soft gun for my grandson for Christmas. He’s been interested in WWII including weaponry and he was thrilled with this realistic looking gun.

Can't wait to use this gun in an air-soft battle. Althou it might need a backup battery.

I was excited upon arrival. I quickly learned that it was an ergonomic mess. I hate how it feels. The sling is too small and the mag release is way to far to reach. I have pretty large hands as well. I wouldn’t suggest this for anyone looking for something good to play with. Otherwise nice prop.

Nice gun. The instructions are terrible and the battery has a problem. It won’t fully charge and gets very hot.

Used this gun for five minutes before it stopped firing and then sounding like it was working completely. DO NOT BUY THIS GUN.
