I like this product. Really defines and moisurizes my curls. I can go 3 days without reapplying. My curls snap back in the morning with spraying a little water on them. It isn't greasy, so with my long hair, I can sit back on the couch without making a greasy mess.

Great product! It works wonders on thick coarse hair, makes it very easy tocomb through. Also, a great smell and that don’t leave your hands greedy. I will buy this again, I only use design essential products on me and my daughter’s hair. 😍

By far the best curl product, and I've tried several over the years. I almost hate that it works so well, because it's sooo expensive and it only lasts me a month, if that. I have medium to long length hair. It really defines my curls, and does not give it that crunchy greasy weighed down look, instead curls are more of a soft defined curl look.For best results use with a smoothing conditioner such as Pureology Smooth Perfection or with Mircale 10 Silk leave-in spray. When you use this creme, section the hair in mid-size sections and work from roots to end. Make sure your hair is wet (for best results). And if you want to expand the product to spread it out a bit (so that it will last), then use with a bit of cold water. This helps a bit.In any case, that's my "two-cents" on how to best use it. :D

This product is great! I used it on my type 4B hair to do a wash and go. After washing and deep conditioning, I applied the design essentials daily moisturizing lotion which the product tells you to do. I then applied the product to my hair in sections. I did have to finger separate some of my coils to aid the defining process. After completing my whole head as the product tells you to do I sat under a hooded dryer for about 40 to 45 minutes to set the style. I am on day three and my hair is still retaining its moisture and the definition is still there. I am very pleased with the results of this product and I highly recommend giving it a try! I will definitely be purchasing this product again!

Let me start by saying I love this hair care product line! The shampoo and conditioner are my favorites! But this product almost made me late to work! Why??So I was getting ready for work and I put this curling cream in my hair and it left a yucky white residue that did not melt or go away! My hair ( dark brown) looked like I had a head full of dandruff! I had to quickly Re wash my hair and get this film out before I went to work!I should have really took some of the reviews to heart about the “ residue.”Not to disparage but keeping it real… 100… truthful…this product was terrible for my hair! Others may have a better review- not this sista!Do not purchase if you have dark hair…the residue is yucky, white and flakey and may make you late for work because you have to Re wash your hair!

Product is very watery! Not suppose to be like that but it does help my hair curl but I will not buy this product anymore. Your better buying it off Sally’s (Maybe) Or House Of Beauty ( for sure). Also this product to me is for 4a,b,c hair I have 4c if this help I will tell y’all a trick to get your hair curl the best way. When your in the shower get your hair real wet and then put the product in and wet it some more a little bit. & also I use a gel after I put the the product in my hair it’s called Xtreme Professional Styling Gel.
