I've worn these shorts 3 or 4 times so far. They are very comfortable and lightweight and you don't get overly hot in them.I read all the reviews carefully and was still a little nervous about what size to order - I'm a UK size 12/14 and eventually went for the Large, which I'm pleased to say is a perfect fit. Comfortable but not overly tight fitting, good leg length and nice fit around the bottom of the legs.I've washed them at 30 degrees and they come out fine.If I did more cycling I would definitely order another pair as the colours look great, especially the blue/green and yellow/purple!The delivery speed was unbelievable - ordered Saturday lunchtime, arrived Sunday evening - thought I'd signed up to Prime by mistake!!

Plenty of padding. Slightly wide in three croch, but comfortably fit overall.

Comfortable, wash and wear, great fit and love the colours.

Not the most elegant but it certainly does the job. I bought these to help with getting used to cycling expecting to still be in pain after my ride. I can honestly say that the day after I barely noticed any discomfort. Definitely no walking like John Wayne. They are snug but do feel like you are wearing a nappy, but it's not like you will be wearing them for anything other than cycling. Highly recommend

Comfortable for 6 hours on the saddle.I am usually a size 8-10, but only size medium was available, these fit ok, but padded area is slightly too wide.Legs don't ride up. Great shorts and great value. Will definitely buy again

The elastic leg bands are silly tight. They fit my girlfriend well everywhere else but dig in horribly at the leg bands. She is not at all overweight but these make her look like there is fat on her legs due to the poor design. Padding is excellent though. Sad to have to send them back.

Love these cycling shorts. As a novice cyclist embarking on a 26 mile cycle they were definitely required! Comfortable and stretchy where needed. No digging in at the waist. Fun bright design. My friends also bought a pair and were very happy with their purchase. Great value too!

I purchased the Black_Purple option shorts for £24.99 in a Large size which fit me as a size 12.They were fantastic fitting lightweight shorts as described with good quality padding but I had to return them as the padding didn't come as far forward as I would have liked. I have included a photo comparing the padding with a pair of FDX bib shorts I bought at the same time which give more padding protection to the 'front' which is what I wanted. The padding on these XGC short felt thicker and possibly a better quality though but I didn't get to test them both out and compare. Nobody else in the reviews has mentioned this front padding issue though so maybe it's just how I'm sitting on my bike or I need a different saddle!I would have worn these shorts on their own as cycling shorts as they were a good length but you could wear them as undershorts too.
