The VP71 by Videotel is a very well made HD media player. We are using one of these tiny devices at a home show to demonstrate our manufacturing process on two 46" HD displays. It's compact, extremely easy to setup, and runs cool to the touch. In the past, we've had to use a laptop which involved additional cables, took up a lot of space and was prone to stopping. The VP71 has been running smooth, crystal clear HD video for 5 days straight with no problems whatsoever! In addition, the VP71 plays seamless, looped video within seconds of being plugged in. No buttons to press. No menus to scroll through. Just load your video on the SD card, plug it in and you're set! The crew who's working the show loves not having to get the laptop up and running for full screen video each day.There's also a cool interface that we plan on getting which allows for additional interactive video clips via a series of dry contact switches - a push button or motion sensor for example - thereby expanding the overall interactive experience with the customer. The VP71 HD Media Player by Videotel has not only helped us achieve an improved level of professionalism, but it has taken the stress out of being able to present beautiful, reliable, full HD video in front of thousands of potential customers. We love it!

We bought two to replace our old DVD videotel player but only one of the two VP71s work. The bad one turns on but does not play anything. I tried connecting hdmi, video out and vga plus audio but nothing. Also tried to switch to appropriate output with the supplied remote; "cvbs" composite video-out; "vga" for monitor; hdmi for flatscreen.
