Works great for stereo dummy load.
These resistors are sturdy and well made. I use them when testing vintage stereos on an oscilloscope to get wattage output measurements. Work great!

It’s a biggie
This is one big mamma-jamma. Comically large. Works great as a dummy load for building/repairing tube amps. Measures spot-on 8 ohms, seems quite robust, and uh... well, I guess that’s all a resistor needs to do right? If it did anything else it that’d be bad.

Valide per i test con amplificatori di potenza
Ho comprato una coppia di queste resistenze da 8 Ohm per collaudare amplificatori Hi-Fi senza diventare sordi, cioè collegandole come carico al posto delle casse acustiche e poter lavorare così in tranquillità con oscilloscopio e generatore di funzioni. Do 4 stelle e non 5 in quanto la vernice di copertura non è delle migliori, nel senso che si stacca un po' troppo facilmente in caso di urti... ma a livello funzionale mi pare un difetto irrilevante.

It can test anything with it. I bought two, and use them frequently. Very useful, well done, highly recommended.
