Best value and solid design
Excellent deionizer!! I bought my unit back in March of 2022 and re-bedded it this month (03/20250) after 250 gal. of throughput with an initial water input TDS of 225. I also run a CAMCO TastePur charcoal water filter as a prefilter mounted to the inlet of the deionizer (If you do, make sure to flush this filter before mounting and using it on the deionizer since some charcoal will first flush out of it) and a water meter to monitor use on the outlet of the deionized. Amongst all these expensive deionizers this one is sturdy, well built, easy to service and works well. For the price (they re all too expensive incl. this unit!!) it is the best value in the market.

WORKS!
This thing WORKS! I was skeptical as there's a lot of these "car wash" systems available, but this seemed simple and to the point. I've done quite a few washes now and even taken advantage of the DI water for other uses. So far still 0 TDS measured. I have a fairly extensive well filtration system which includes softening, so this is solely to pull the salt out of my water. Everything I wash comes out perfect. I also run a RV water filter right before this just to hopefully maximize it's resin life. I really think the price point is worth it compared to some other offerings.

Should have bought this years ago! (Please see my update)
This unit is fantastic!! I’ve been washing my own cars since I was 16 years old and the most dreaded part was drying. It was always a race to get all of the water off before spots formed and when you didn’t get all of the dirt and grime off it was now on your chamois. After reading some online articles about car washing and how DI water greatly simplifies the task I decided to try this out. I bought a Greenworks pressure washer and a foam gun (from Amazon) as well as other car washing cleaning items that the pros were using in their detailing business. I can wash my vehicles in one quarter of the time and have a better finished product using the DI water and I don’t have to worry about drying when I’m done.Keep in mind that there is a flow limitation and this is best suited for use with a pressure washer. I try to drain the water out of it after I’m done and I try to capture as much as I can in an old water jug that I can put a lid on. Mixing the soap in the foam cannon with the DI water makes for a nice foamy application and in the winter time I use it to de-ice my windshield in the morning. I don’t have to worry about spots forming while driving down the road to work.My water tests out at 150 PPM before the Deionizer and the supplied tester is handy to make sure you’re getting good exchange as you’re using your unit. I bought a little flow totalizer (also from Amazon) so I can keep track of how much water I’ve ran through it. I check it after each weekend of use and so far I still get 1 PPM water.I highly recommend this unit if you wash your own vehicles. I haven’t had to refill my resin yet but I figure this is the cost of convenience and simplicity and the refill kits from the manufacturer aren’t that expensive. It has made my weekend chore of washing all of our vehicles a much easier task.Update 4/15/2018: My 150 ppm water finally exhausted the resin bed at 289 gallons according to my flowmeter. After running the numbers I am going to purchase the dual bed conversion kit from the manufacturer which basically splits the resin types up into two tanks instead of the mixed resin being in one. They claim 2 1/2 times the output so we'll see. Right around 250 gallons I started getting 20 ppm water. At that number water spots were just starting to show up after I blew off my vehicles with the leaf blower. I did my F250 truck this morning and the water spots were all over the windows. I checked the TDS and it was 52 which is right at the hard water scale. I highly recommend adding a flowmeter and monitoring your TDS with the included meter when you start getting close to the max gallons that the manufacturer says the media will last. Looking at their website their calculations were pretty close to what I got.Again this is a fantastic product and I would never again wash any of my vehicles without it. It is a huge time saver and the water produced is very high quality and inexpensive. A definite must have for anyone that washes their own vehicles.

Bead use
Purchased to clean my 42 ft fifth wheel while in Arizona where the water is very hard. Used only once so far and no water spots. Wish the generation lasted more than 4 complete washes as the replacement beads are expensive to replace after 4 uses. Still cheaper than having someone come out to wash only. Have On The Go water sophener and works as advertised. Easy to use both.

Performance at a great price
I researched DI systems heavily before purchasing one of these. I was prepared to build my own from components to maximize the performance vs cost, when I came across these and found the system cost less than the equivalent capacity from DIY parts. I've used it so far to rinse an RV after washing it with extremely hard water, and the product performed just as claimed. I did no drying whatsoever and after air drying the vehicle is spotless. I had some questions for the vendor and they answered promptly and to my satisfaction.

POOR MANUFACTURING QUALITY
Bought American made product thinking the quality would be superior but I was wrong. The bottom of the fiberglass was spun with large puckers while fiberglass was rolled and molded therefore the base would not seat correctly onto the canister resulting in the tank tipping over as it leaned to one side. Customer care refunded half the amount and I sent every accessory back to them at my shipping expense.

Amazing
This thing is legit. Just rinse after the wash and walk away. Before I was finished the customer came up to me and said, "wow you put that wax on so fast I didn't see you do it." Yeah that's cause I didn't. Great product. Definitely worth the money.
