Simple and Classy for a tea party!!!!!!!! I also purchased the 26 inch petticoat to go under the dress and it was perfect.

First off, let me say that this is by far the most comfiest dress I have worn. I ordered an XL, but I probably could have gotten away with wearing a large. It is a tad too big around the bust area. I am a 38 D. I am 5'2 and weigh 165 pounds. I wore this out for my birthday and received a lot of nice compliments. I will be purchasing more retro dresses!!

Love this dress! At first I thought I'd accidentally purchased dark blue instead of black but it was just a trick of the light. Good cotton dress, a little stretchy in the bust but not too much fabric; fits my flat chest no problem! Enough fabric to wear a petticoat underneath. I'm 5'4" and usually a size 4/6 dress and small fits me great. The bust might be tight on a larger woman? (I'm 31" underbust and B cup) but hips should be no issue as there's plenty of skirt (my hip is 33".) Three bows to tie (neck, back, belt) but could easily go without the back and belt and throw a corset overtop. Side zipper gets a little stuck at the waist seam but what cheap dress doesn't? Love this!

So I just got this in the mail and I love it so far! It is light weight, well made, and freaking adorable! I was afraid it wasn't going to fit becausey waist measurements were a few inches bigger than what was listed, but the amazing stretchy back made it a perfect fit! Not too tight, not too loose! I will be able to wear my strapless bra with it and the chest area will be perfect fit too. I bought this for the New Orleans Red Dress Run, however I will be able to wear it all the time!I am 5'4, 250lbs and wear a size 20/22, size 44DD AND the 3xl was a perfect fit. In the photo I am not wearing a strapless bra, and I have the floof skirt underneath. I will have better photos once I properly dress it up. But so far I love it!!

love this dress, cant wait to wear it to the beach! i'm 5'5 36D 160 lbs and medium fits perfect. adjustable satin ribbon for the waist and it's literally separate from the dress. dress shipped out super wrinkly but that's ok! Highly recommended if you like this style

I usually wear an L or XL in the top half, M to L in the bottom. I ordered an XXL since I have read these run a bit smaller. Perfect fit! I love that the back of the dress has a small lace up and stretchy area! The belt didn't really stay in place, I was moving around a lot. Love the dress!

Beautiful. This dress was awesome, and perfect for a night out. I got so many compliments on the way it looked! It was comfortable and fit great. I order a XXL when I normal order a M/L. Gorgeous neckline and I loved the tie in the halter top.

Thought I would leave a review in the hope it helps with size selection. The dress is lovely, better quality than expected. I ordered a M for my teen daughter and XL for myself for my sisters wedding (she's 50's mad!). I measure 40" bust- 371/2" waist - 40" hip, Uk 12-14 ish. I was concerned the XL wouldnt expand enough for my mummy tummy, but it did and there was a comfortable amount of room in it, but not sagging. I will be buying another! My daughter measures 35" bust - 27" waist- 331/2" hips, UK 10+. She was concerned a M would be too roomy on the belly area. The medium was fine, with a bit of room to the belly area, but not sagging. The corset like ties at the back help ease/tighten the fit for all. The back is quite low, so a thinner bra strap or clear may be useful. Both our dresses were exact perfect fits in the bust, so would recommend treating this as the most important size point. Opinion was that the use of any belt/tie made me look fatter! Hope this was helpful.

Me gusta mucho y me queda como un guante. Es tal y como se ve en las fotos, tiene una buena tela, es cómodo y gracias al elástico y las tiras que lleva destrás se adapta muy bien al cuerpo. En las fotos lo llevo con un cancan (venía algo arrugado).

Love this dress - I have recently lost a lot of weight and needed a new dress for a vintage day out. Having checked the size chart I ordered a medium / size 12 (I was a 16) blue dress with white polka dots, and the dress fits perfectly. For the money I am very happy with my purchase and will be looking to buy more from the company in the future! I'm 5ft 8 with 36d / 12 dress size!

I'm in love. Now I'm not a girly girl but we're doing a vintage themed beer/Pimms tent for a gala so I ordered this in the hope that it would do. Omg I love it. I'm a dress size 8/10 but quite muscular ish so not sure if it would suit. I ordered the XS bring optimistic and it fits perfectly. There's an elasticised back that would give a few inches either way. I ordered a black underskirt for extra volume which I've got on in the photo. I just want to wear a different one everyday! Would be perfect for a ladies day at the races. Material is really good too.

I haven't worn this dress yet but can't wait for a chance to! I will wear it with an underskirt to push the skirt out but it does work without one. Also, (as I already have one), I will wear it with an elasticated belt (rather than the ribbon provided with the dress) but again, the ribbon is fine if you don't have one. I'm usually a 16/18 or 18 and got the XL initially (as that's the size I have in another brand) but ended up going to the XXL in this make. The really great thing is the free returns, so if you don't get the right size, you don't lose out on paying postage.

Wow! This is an amazing dress. I ordered it yesterday, came this morning, beautifully packaged and increased.I dithered over the sizing when ordering and opted for a medium as I'm a size 12. It fits beautifully, and I think the large would be fine too due to the lacing at the back.I actually bought the dress to wear at a punk festival but its far you nice to only wear occasionally,.I also bought an undershirt to puff it out, which looks amazing but the dress still looks good without.Totally blown away by this dress and now looking to buy another one 😀

Really happy with this dress. I bought it to wear for my birthday. The material is good and the colours are bright. I found the satin detail sweet heart neck line to be particularly flattering. The dress has lots of stretch and the corset back can be adjusted so I would think that if I was a size smaller or larger would still fit. I'm 5ft and it fell below my knee which is a good length. The skirt is full, I tried two under skirts but they didn't work well but the dress was full enough without them. When the dress arrived it smelt bad from the packaging. I was concerned about washing it as it says hand wash only but the 20 min rinse on my machine removed the smell. I hung it up to air dry and there were no wrinkles. I am so happy I ordered it in another colour.

I didn't expect the ribbon lacing at the back, but I may not have looked at the picture properly. As a 'rock-a-billy' dress the material is all wrong - it doesn't sit well or flow - skirt is not full enough. A cotton feel to the material. Compared to other 'rock-a-billy' dresses I have bought on Amazon this does not rank as the best. Nice dress, made well and probably value for me, but not for me.

Lovely dress - very flattering. I'm a curvy size 12 (sometimes 14, due to my chest 36C/D) and the large fitted with a bit of extra room - I could probably have got away with a Meduim but I don't like things tight. Lovely material with a bit of stretch.Having now bought a medium in a different pattern - I can confirm it fits a size 12 snuggly

Light cotton dress, great for summer.Nice nice flare - looks great with a petticoat underneath.Great value, one of these wardrobe staples than can be dressed up or down depending on what you style it with.Size wise, I'm usually a 14/16, purchased an XL which is actually quite roomy but can be adjusted slightly with the ribbon at the back which is good.Very flattering and comfortable to wear.

A beautiful dress which is excellent value for the price. It’s light weight and folds down very small (without the underskirt which I did not buy). Ideal for travelling with. On the minus side, it creases easily as it's 95% cotton 5% spandex. Instructions state Dry Clean Only and also Wash by Hand. Have not tried this.It’s rather snug fitting on the bodice, so go a size up if between sizes, as the seller advises. There is a side zip for ease of dressing. The back can be adjusted to be narrower by drawing in the ribbons more tightly, by about an inch or so. See my photo of the back. The bodice also stretches wider but I think this would be uncomfortable to wear. The halter ribbons and ribbon belt (not shown in my photo) have a lovely silky feel to them.

Awaiting for my order which is arriving today 1st february 2020 Its for a rocknroll event. My dress arrived on that day. Tried it on few days later. Looked lovely on. I felt good in it. Just a fraction loose until l gently pulled the crisscross ribbon at the back Then all fitted well. I may or may not use the ribbon-belt. I have a stretchy one. Just looks so pretty on. I'm in my 60's but young with it This is my fourth dress - 3 recently diff designs and have been pleased with the outcome. I dance alot.

My dress came today for my 1950s theme 40th birthday in January .. was nervous as I'm smaller in top and larger on bottom half , but omg I am so amazed fits so so so nice and for the price this dress is amazing , better than I expected xxx so pleased thankyou

The dress is absolutely stunning! Good quality material, fits perfectly (I ordered XS, as I'm usually size 6 UK) and looks fabulous! Highly recommend getting it, it's well worth the money! The only slight downside is the length, I found it a bit too long, but it's nothing a pair of high heels can't fix. Thumbs up, go for it!
