Sure they're thin metal but you ain't gonna be using then as step stools! Works well - these racks are essential to every kitchen to best take advantage of the space inside the pot when you steam anything, and provide even steaming for superior results. I got 2 of these; one 8" diameter and the other 7" so i could utilize 2 tiers. That part worked great but I deducted 1 star for the discoloration or staining after one use. Don't know what's up with that. Still, they perform their steaming duty finely, and they are built on the bare minimum thickness to do that.

Flimsy
The quality of the rack is flimsy. I’ve used it 3 times now and I don’t like that the metal legs are scraping the bottom of the pot.

Great in small air fryers
I have a 9 by 9 Air fryer. The rack was getting old. So i bought this rack to replace it. It fit perfect and does the job. Will keep buying as long as my fryer last. 5 stars!!!

Cheaply made
Thin and looks cheap. Hope it won't rust.

Steamming without adding another pan
Fit one of my existing pans, now i can steam without the bulge bulk or any additional dedicated pan

Looks good. Sturdy legs. Going to it in pot to steam lobsters, clams and crab.
