Worth the price and effort.. absolutely love it !
If you are looking for an almost real kitchen for your toddler or elder kid, look no further. This is perfect for my 2.5 year girl and she absolutely loved it. The doors and knobs are very smooth and can stand rough usage. I like the full size refrigerator which could hold all of her play toys for kitchen as well. Lot of storage for keeping things tidy. Additionally the color combination is very perfect and the whole setup has given my living room a new cute look..The hard part: it has lots of small pieces which needs to be fixed in the right way for the piece to look as it is supposed to be. Me and husband took all of the evening from 6 pm to almost 10pm to finish this huge task, very tiring !! But the output delighted us. The instruction book could be in color which could ease a lot of confusion in finding the right pieces, it’s in black and white . We had to redo our screwing a couple of times since we had done with wrong side on some pieces, the pictures are not very detailed in the holes and other bends in the piece to help us know the alignment. We have done more than 10 ikea products and everything in our home is ikea.. none of them have made us sweat so much 😀.. wish the pieces and instructions could be better improved for DIY customers!

Great kitchen especially for the price!
I bought this kitchen for my 3 yr old daughter's bday this year and she has played with it every day since she got it. It is a great height for a little older child and has lots of 'working' parts like fridge doors and microwave oven. The sink and burners make the kitchen look very realistic as well. There is lots of storage for all those kitchen accessories. Many kitchens this size are several hundred dollars so I think the biggest 'pro' to this kitchen is that it was relatively inexpensive (around $110). The only negative I can find with this kitchen is that it was a BEAST to put together. It took me and my husband about 2- 2 1/2 hours to put together. I will say, though, that the directions are very clear and all the parts are clearly marked by number which was very helpful. It is packaged very well and no parts were missing or broken. The kitchen is very heavy and sturdy and I can see my daughter and all her friends (as well as her siblings) playing with this for a long time.

UPDATE----Great Kitchen but hours of assembly!
UPDATE: We have had this kitchen for 1 year, and I wanted to write an update on it's durability. I would say this kitchen is very well made, but cannot sustain a lot of heavy play. Our white insert trays (that pull out) have already broken off. We also had a friend over to play and he easily broke off one of the doors. I would recommend this item, but not for kids who are rough on toys.I did a ton of research and new this was the kitchen I wanted after seeing it at a friend's house. The main reasons I wanted this particular kitchen is (1) it was one of the tallest kitchens I could find. My 3 year old is on the tall side and she will still be able to play with this for years to come. (2) I wanted a big enough kitchen so that my 3 year old and 1 year old would both have plenty of room to play together. And (3) It has a ton of storage space so it can be easily cleaned up without having tons of stuff strew about. We just got this kitchen for Christmas so I can't really rate it's durability yet however a good friend of mine has had the same kitchen for 1 year and has had no problems with it. The only warning I would give it that it takes a very long time to assemble. My husband is very handy and it took us about 3 hours to put together. The only other thing to be aware of is it being damaged during shipping due to how heavy it is. The first time we received this it had been damaged during shipping so we had to send it back. The second one we received made it OK but when we took everything out of the box all of the knobs on the stove were broken. This was probably due to the packaging not the shipping. However, I called KidKraft the next day and they overnighted replacement parts to us so I was very happy with their customer service. If you are buying this for a birthday or other occasion I would just make sure to give yourself plenty of time to check all of the pieces before putting it together. Overall I think this is a great kitchen and I am very happy with it!

Pretty, plenty of space, durable
We love it! I’m so happy with it and the price is fair.Pros:1. It’s made of wood and is very sturdy. I think it will hold up for many years. Probably about 70-80lbs.2. It’s aesthetic, the colors are soft and pretty (not tacky IMO)3. It wasn’t TOO hard to assemble, but takes about 2-3 hours if you’re doing it by yourself.Cons:1. The instructions can get tricky if you don’t have experience with reading diagrams and assembling things in general ( which I don’t)2. There is a YouTube tutorial for this exact product, however the part labels in the video are not the same as the instructions that came with it, so you can’t follow the tutorial to a T. The video was only helpful to physically see which part they were talking about by looks, but numbers/letters and hardware were completely different.Overall I am SUPER happy with it, and I can’t wait for my daughter to wake up in the morning and see it. Feels like Christmas in July!!Oh and the dishes/food are things we bought separately. It came with 2 utensils and a pot holder.
