This jean jacket was a pleasant surprise! J Crew has such great quality stuff (but I have to admit I haven’t bought any in awhile). This jean jacket is the quality you’d expect! It’s medium weight with a very slight stretch to it. It’s not really stiff & it’s not super soft. When I put it on it feels incredibly comfortable. It’s great for spring, fall & winter. It’s a little too heavy for summer, unless you wear it on a cooler evening. Overall, this is a really great purchase. I purchased a size medium & I feel it runs true to size (maybe a little bit on the roomier side). For reference, I typically wear a size medium in tops, but can sometimes wear a size small. I have extra room in the arms & can button up the jacket without it feeling snug. It doesn’t look frumpy! If you want a snug fit in the arms & torso, you’d probably want to size down.
