Easy to apply
Very easy to apply. Pleasant smell. Brought the garden furniture up beautifully. I forgot to wipe off the excess on one piece and its a bit sticky. My fault. The instructions said to do so.

Good quality
If you must use teak oil (there is a school of thought that you shouldn't) then this is the one - first class quality - I am using it in a marine setting so pretty tough test but I would say its fantastic. Get well oiled today!!

Smells like linseed oil
I bought this for the restoration of a couple of garden chairs and it’s brought them up looking almost like new. Not had long 3nough to test the durability but on th3 basis that it’s a linseed oil product it should be fine.

Do not use too much
A good quality marine teak oil. Be careful how much you use. I lightly brushed on to a large teak garden table and then wiped surplus off with a microfibre cloth.Unfortunately it took over two weeks to dry. I usually add two coats but I’m sticking to one coat of this particular product. Well worth using but don’t be in a rush to use your treated furniture.

Better than others I have tried.
I bought this after trying a Cuprinol product and then reading these reviews. It smells and feels much nicer - both more natural. If there is a slight downside it is that it is slightly harder to clean off the brush. It looks lovely after one coat but is definitely better for two. I cannot comment about water resistance yet.

Didn’t perform to expectations
I’m not sure what I was expecting but I applied this to a wooden bench with a brush and it was during a good few dry days so it was perfectly dry when the first showers hit it. I was sort of expecting to see the water bead on the surface of the bench and it just didn’t. At all. The water just sat on the surface and the bench looked wet, so I’m really not sure what protection this is giving the bench. The smell, while not unpleasant, does last a very long time. Even now after a couple of months I can still smell it in the background when sitting on the bench. It also darkened the wood somewhat although still looks ok.So, it looks ok, smells ok, and is easy to use, but I really can’t say I’m overly impressed with the “protection” level. Time will tell I suppose.Last point, I used about half the bottle for a normal sized 2 seater wooden bench.
