I remember seeinf Steve in the park in 2005 and I cant forget how happy and how he was smiling as he was talking about his crocodiles. And now with this book i got to know more about his personal life and how he started this amazing work of his

Third graders love this series. When I opened the box of books in class, the students cheered and shouted, "When can we start reading them?", "Can we read them now?" I loved their response and had to pull sticks to decide who would get to read them first. The books are entertaining and fit the bill when it comes to having students read informational text. I have the students fill out a literature reflection that I created that covers the Common Core Reading Standards for informational text. You can make your own or find one from a "teacher made" website.

My 4th grader did a report last year on Steve Irwin and this book was chock full of every piece of important information he needed. The letters were not too small and did not seem overwhelming. I am proud to say that he got an A+!!! I recommend this book. You won't regret it.

Our 10 year old LACHNES MONSTER ordered and bought this book after finding this series in his school library. This particular book was the 100th title created in this series. The 10 year old reports: "it was a good book all around and I learned a lot about crocodiles, and how Steve Irwin spent his life". The order was easy, came within a few days and was an excellent reading level for a 10 year old. Highly recommended.

Book has some good facts about Steve Irwin. My son is doing a book report on him. The book has good quality pictures and the font is just right.

These books are great to read and we do it as a family. It is great learning about people and places.

We love the Who Was/Who Is/Where Is series! Great stories, even I like to read them along with my daughter. So happy to have found books my 9 year old will read!
