Item was not what I needed, I needed the CB1A and this did not fit, my mistake not Omni Corporation. My refund was much quicker than expected and I will do business with them again.

What can you say. It does the job and easy easy to flush. I have all water in the kitchen going through a gang of these. Seems like it filters well. Ice isn't extremely clear, but that could be other factors causing it. No smell, tastes great, happy with them. I buy a case at a time.

Great price & great job filtering

I had an under sink Omni two-stage filter for years. The product description for these did not include the diameter. Omni chose to change all of their systems to a 1/4-inch large diameter, making filters for their older systems no longer available. I'm now the owner of an Aquasana system that genuinely tastes so much better, filters more harmful substances, and cost a bit less than the new Omni. I recommend you look at the Aquasana 3-stage system.

For years we have used an Omnifilter system to filter water for drinking and for our fishtanks. As I do twice a year, two days ago I replaced the filter, rinsed the housing with pre-filtered water, and flushed water through the re-assembled system for several minutes to clear the system. As we do twice a month, this evening we replaced water in two small fishtanks with water from the filtered tap. A few minutes later we noticed one of the fish was swimming oddly. When we came back a half an hour later all the fish were dead. Needless to say, water samples are going to the lab ASAP.

I've been using Omni filters for many years. Seems to work just fine at removing chlorine from my water. Makes much better tasting water based beverages - especially coffee. Highly recommended.

I used this instead of the CB3, since it is 1/3 the cost. There are 2 stages of sediment filter in the house before this, so I figured the 1 micron vs. 0.5 micron rating was OK. Water tastes great.
