FidaRetractable Dog Leash, 16 ft Dog Walking Leash for Medium Dogs up to 44lbs, Tangle Free, White & Pink

I don't write reviews often, but when I've realized I've used a product daily for over 2 years without any problems I feel I should share my appreciation. Bought the 16ft, 26lb leash for my then 2 month, 5lb pug and it's still holding strong now that she's over 2 years and 25 lbs.This is used 3+ times a day, fallen several stories (dog was not attached), dragged across the ground and absolutely no issues. The lock is super simple to use and very reliable compared to other leashes I've used and fits in any pocket. 10/10 worth the money, would buy again.

Unwinds and winds up easily, locks quick and easy, big handle for bigger hands and for ease of use. The button feature is way better than another one I have for my other pup. I'll be purchasing another one for him most likely. It's a leash design for the whole 16 ft and not a wire like the current one I have, which is great, since I got wire burns from the other one I have. The hook is sturdy and big enough, also, to accommodate 2 hooks like some harnesses have. This is a great product!

I LOVE this product for its ease of use , durability , and the fact that it offers the ten-foot option , which makes walking my little Yorkie so much safer. No worries about her running out into the street if she sees a squirrel or other temptation , the shorter length makes it possible for me to snatch her away if needed. The ONLY issue I've had with using this leash in the past is that she occasionally turns around and chews on the area near the attachment , causing me to try to reinforce the area with duct tape ( not very attractive , but it works!) But , apparently someone else reported this issue to the manufacturer , because they now include an optional foot-long heavy duty leader that you can put between the collar(or harness) and the leash- now she doesn't try to bite it ! Excellent product , made even better , for a great price .

The leash has been super reliable to hold onto my puppy during our potty training journey. As a puppy, she is very curious so the lock feature on the retractable leash has been super helpful. I can lock and unlock the leash with just my thumb and I have not had any problems with the lock not working. The leash itself has not had any problems with ripping or tearing when my puppy is pulling on me during the walks either. The grip of the leash is very comfortable and feels natural during the walk. Not to mention the pink and white leash is a cute little dog accessory for your afternoon strolls.

I sometimes find the life of these type of products to be limited but this is still working well and we bought the small size in 2021. Gets used several times a day, seven days a week. Our dog is 16 pound and the size is perfect for us. Sometimes the lock is a bit awkward but as long as there is no tension on the leash it works fine. Would buy it again and would recommend it

Retractable leashes are the best, in my opinion, because they allow your dog to run freely (up to a point, of course) while you still maintain control so you can keep him/her safe. The Fida leash is among the best I've used. It's easy to manipulate and is well made and sturdy. It also comes in different sizes for different sized dogs.I'm happy with this leash -- I like it.

This dog leash is a solid purchase, but I do think it’s slightly overpriced for the quality. However, I’ve had it for several months and it’s light-weight, easy to use, has a good amount of length, and hasn’t worn down at all. I think the material used for the leash that extends out isn’t very strong. And, I notice when I need to pull my dog towards me quickly, it’s slow to do that. Overall, I am satisfied with this product but not 100%. However, nothing is perfect, right? If you have a smaller dog, think this works. Anything over 40 pounds, consider going higher quality.

I like the fact that the Leash is a light weight, but you can hear the leash expand and retract, and a couple of times the leash did get tangled, as it was retracting. I would not consider it as one of the best of leashes. Plus, the stainless steel snap-hook is too small for the fact that it is made as a Heavy Duty Leash and to be used for dogs up to 44 lbs. Another thought is, since the Stainless Steel Half-moon ring on the collar is larger, it makes it difficult to connect the smaller snap-hook to that size ring on the collar. If it wasn't for the fact that I purchased another Heavy Duty Leash, I would have returned it; but I am not one to go through the process of returning items. I read all the reviews and they sounded great, so I made the purchase. Maybe I just receive a "Lemon or a Monday made product."Attached is a photo to show what size the snap-hook should be for this Heavy Duty Fida Retractable Leash, for Dogs up to 44 lbs., after having 6 Miniature Schnauzers, I have gone through a number leashes; my present Mini-Miniature Schnauzer is only 13 lbs., but I still wanted to get a Heavy Duty Leash basically because the snap-hook is usually bigger.But the other concepts that I shared, about the snap-hook, the Company should consider changing the size of the snap-hook to be according to the size of the Dog Leash per pound as to consider to the size of the collar; the larger the dog – the larger the collar will be, then the snap-hook should then be a larger size.Joseph Snooka/k/a as JDSnook to Amazon

Now let's set this one thing straight; I'm a good dog and I actually don't need a lead. My human bought this after coming back from one of our walks one day, during which he uttered several rude words every time my previous lead jammed.I have to say the movement of the extending lead is very smooth and hardly audible and has none of the clack, clack, clacking the old lead had. The lead also has reflective stitching, which means even that manic cyclist who bombs down the tow path at night should be able to see us now (providing he buys some lights).Orange is my human's choice... orange everything, orange harness, orange coat, orange, orange, orange. Still, he does have good taste in dog treats and I always get a crisp when we visit this strange building that has lots of drinks for sale, where people just sit, drink and look at their phones. Honestly, I'll never understand humans.

Useless product. The lead tore a little the first time we used it to walk the dog. The second time we used it it snapped completely and he ran off into traffic. Luckily he didn't get hit or cause an accident. He is a 7kg border terrier and we were using the large size lead which should in theory be appropriate for large dogs like labs, rottweilers etc. Shows just how flimsy it is. The handle is good and comfortable but the lead itself is a flimsy piece of ribbon. Avoid.

I would not recommend this lead! it lasted all of 9 days before snapping mid walk. my pup was lucky that she wasn't near a busy road!!! There was absolutely no sign of fraying absolutely none prior to setting off on our walk. such a disappointment. what concerns me the most is this company clearly does not care. I wish I'd read the reviews. no reply from the company. Does that mean they know the leads are prone to snap yet are still willingly selling them. I would avoid this company at all cost well for your dogs life. I was lucky but someone else won't be. it could be your dog! Avoid Avoid Avoid

Excellent quality and well made. Bought vivid lime green one which is us useful when road walking. Stitching is fluorescent so can see it when out in the evenings.Very strong 5 meter leash good for large breed dogs.

We actually bought this well over a year ago, but a story about a lead snapping prompted me to write this as it’s so important to let other people know. We had this lead for maybe 2-3 months when we got our dog, who is tiny. Only about 5-6kg at the time but very energetic.my partner was walking him and the lead actually snapped and our puppy ran off - luckily for us the road was quiet and we got hold of him quickly, but stories where the dog hasn’t been so lucky reminded me of this incident! For a ‘heavy duty’ lead this is alarming given our pup only weighted about 6ths at the time. I would be wary about buying this if you are considering it!
