Perfect for my five year old!
Omg, this trike is amazing. Definitely big and for the older crowd...as in five year old or so. Gave it to my five year old for his birthday and it changed his life... He off raids in it and actually needs a helmet because he wants to take it skate parks. It's hilarious and perfect! This has very crude construction but also means you can fix it or makes changes (like we did to add a wagon). My kid loves this and has everyone in the neighbor smiling as he cruises past. There are many size adjustments with the handle bars and seat you make to fit your child.

Woulda given it a 5, but absolutely no diagram or instructions..... However I did get a diagram from them online that would have helped and saved me some time, but I had spent a few hours on the 4 th figuring it out. Was a solid built trike and fit my 3 yr old granddaughter to a T!

My son is 3 he loves the trike but he is a little to short for it & hasn't been able to ride it. But that's the only issue we have had.

Tore had to be replaced.
One tire had to be replaced, due to it being wares and the tube not able to hold air. Otherwise, nice and sturdy.

Good quality. Good Price. Great all-around, rugged trike!
You can find this particular tricycle sold under many different names. Here it is Grip. At Tractor Supply stores it is sold as Country Kids 10 inch Tricycle. On Ebay you see sold as Western Express. It's all the same bike made by an oriental company but sold by different companies. But that doesn't really matter. What does matter is that it is a great tricycle for about $50. It is all steel, not a bit of plastic on this thing. Rubber tires. Nice large seat. Decent hardware comes with it to assemble, but you could always use better nuts and bolts if you really wanted to...it's all standard sizing. What you normally get for $50 is a mostly plastic piece of junk. With this trike, you actually get a well-made metal toy that will last for a long time.Let me point out one thing. It says ages 3-8 on the package. My three year old can't ride it. On the highest setting, closest to the pedals he still can't reach. My four year old can ride it pretty well, but it's still somewhat large for him. They love, however, that there is a little bar across the back that makes up the "rear axle" that they can stand on so one kid can drive and one can ride along in standing position. The tires on this thing are huge, especially the front tire. I haven't owned it long enough to tell how the tires will hold up over time, but they seem to be on par with just about all the other inflatable tire-type toys out there, if not better.Easy to assemble out of box. Sturdy. Won't easily tip over. Definitely large and rugged enough if you live in the country or need an "off road" trike. I got it for $50, so search around a bit if the price is higher than that.Update 2012: It's now April 2012 and I still have this tricycle. It's still going strong, still holding together, and still being used ALL THE TIME! My 5 and 6 year old fight over this trike all the time. After two years of owning it, I'm changing it to 5 stars (up from 4) because it has held up so well. This really is the best tricycle deal in the $50 range.Update June 2015: I still have and use this great little trike. Except for a little bit of rust around the handlebars, this trike has held up for over 5 years and has through 3 kids so far. The tires are still in good condition. They have gone flat numerous times but that's am easy fix (I might even look into the run flat or solid foam tires you can get from Northern Tool or Tractor Supply). None of the welds have broken. The pedals and "axles" still work great. Highly recommended!
