Just as described. I read few reviews that it was thick for ornaments. I embroider and sell ornaments and my client loved it. Its great value for money. When we cut , it does fray but my ends are sewed in so it was not a concern for me. However if youre thinking to tie it in ornaments then this may not be the right choice.

I thought this was a very thin silver strand, but it isn't. It has a cotton thread through the middle, so it doesn't make for good bows, crafting, etc. However, I was able to cut pieces, and pull the cotton threads out, and then use my nail to flatten the silver thread, and it works well after that. It's my own fault for not realizing the thickness, but I've used it a lot.

As advertised, very shiny silver thread. It wasn't as thick as I would have wished but it is just a little thinner than you would typically see yarn be. It served its purpose well.

pretty good string. sometimes hard to cut and the inside comes out. I also thought it was a little too thick. for a very few ornaments the hole was too small for this size string to go through. otherwise it's nice. A lot easier to pre-string all your ornaments when putting them up and taking them down every year than using hooks on and off.

Well suited for braiding, it bends easily while retaining shape and has a polished metallic shine.I would recommend it for fabric trim or braiding where great looks are required.

We use this cord a lot for making fused glass pendants. The cord looks like silver. The only downside are the frayed edges where you cut the ends.

Needed this item to complete Christmas ornaments I make. I would have liked it to be a bit thinner, but it is what it is, and it worked fine.

The cord seems to be good quality, although I haven't used it yet. The description says it's good for hanging ornaments, but I think it's way too thick/heavy for that. It will be good for wrapping gifts, etc. The description needs to say how think it is.

I'm not sure why there are some bad reviews on this product. I purchased and received this product and found it to be exactly as this page says it is. No surprises, nothing odd. It's a silver tinsel cord, 100 yards long. Works great for Christmas Ornaments. It's tough enough, sparkly enough, good enough. As for the thickness of the cord, it measures at 1.15mm thick which is standard I believe, judging from other alternatives of a similar product.
