This guitar is simply amazing. For the price you pay you really get your moneys worth..now times that by 10! This guitar looks so sleek, the paint is nicely polished, you can see your reflection! Everything on the guitar looks great, yes it was made in china, but this guitar sounds amazing! The fret board is wide enough for my huge hand to play, with out trying to squeeze my fingers together. Also has a struss rod to adjust the neck, which usually guitars from china don't even have that! The stock strings that come with the guitar are medium guage, they sound awesome, but I prefer light-medium elixirs with nanoweb. If you are looking to learn how to play, or looking for a gift you cannot go wrong. Shipping was very fast as well, It shipped on Tuesday and even though FedEx was closed Thursday (thanksgiving) it still arrived saturday. Overall im extremely happy with this purchase, I will differently recommend this guitar to anyone who asks. What are you waiting for? BUY THIS GUITAR!

Requires continual neck adjustment to keep G and D strings from twanging.

Looked good out of the box but went to tune it and it had a broken tuning key. Bummer. Returned to Amazon

As a 20+ year piano player, I've recently decided (at the age of 30) that i wanted to learn the acoustic guitar. Keep in mind: I only aspire to the campfire, and do not intend to do much more, but as a person who's musically inclined, has a good ear for tune, and craftsmanship, I'm very happy with this Fender. $115 bucks..Prime 2 day delivery..doesn't get much better than that. It arrived securely packaged and was delivered without any defects, dents, or dings. It is exactly what I expected/hoped for, and, in the last two weeks, I've learned about 10 chords, and have been playing some tunes. I have ordered some next light Elixir stings because I'm not a huge fan the stock ones, but outside of that, that guitar feels good, looks nice (it is a 100 dollar guitar after all), and plays well. I'd recommend to anyone just getting into guitar, wants a second/backup around the house, or (like me) wants to confirm that guitar is indeed for them, before they go out and spend a $1000+ on something that they're not 100% certain they're going to stick with.

Folks, if you're looking for spare/travel/practice guitar, look no further; you've found a keeper. This sucker plays great and sounds fantastic, easily up there with several hundred dollar guitars. Great action that doesn't start to raise at the higher frets like it does on so many cheap guitars.All this being said, I wouldn't want this as my first guitar. It's cheaply made, and instead of the normal/distinct smell of a fresh new acoustic, this one reeks of the glue that I can only imagine holds the white decoration around the sound hole. Also, the perimeter of the sound hole was kind of rough, kind of like it had serrated edges. Kind of takes away from the magic, but I doubt lots of people would even notice this.If you can look past these minor issues (and I'd only call them minor if you're knowingly buying this as a cheap guitar), this is the guitar for you!

Guitar would be nice, but the E string was placed too close to the board so every time I strum, it vibrates violently against the frets. Pretty disappointed. Now I have to go get a brand new guitar repaired.

I ordered this and had it shipped to Hawaii, I was kinda worried it would get damaged due to the long distance but it arrived very well packaged. This guitar is awesome I absolutely love it. Unlike the review above mine my guitar strings that came with it was in great condition and sounded well but I changed it anyway to better quality ones. Im sure you will be very happy with this purchase as well.

For the price, this is very good value. The sound is pretty good and the guitar looks very nice. The carry bag is not very strong. Mine has torn without being used for anything other than keeping the guitar covered while in the house. Like most Fenders I've used, this guitar stays in tune well.
