Very good book - not that I like cleaning - but it is inspiring & it's good to know how to do things properly. Good tips on what to use & they all work.

The price and timely delivery.

I must admit I was dubious whether I'd enjoy this book (I normally read fiction and I don't like cleaning!). However Lynsey Queen of Clean has packed her book full of hints and tips and ideas on how to effectively clean your home. It's so useful having it all in one book.It's a very inviting book too, I love the colour and the layout on the inside (and for a reader like me - it's a nice book to hold - very important!). The content isn't overwhelming but has been broken up into chunks and chapters making it easy to navigate. I read it in chronological order (marking it with my pencil as i read as there really are so many ideas that I don't want to forget) however it's also the kind of book that can be dipped into and referred back to time and time again. I particularly like the various charts and have already scanned and printed the ones provided. i can't praise it high enough.I personally have never liked cleaning and have spent most of my life being overwhelmed by it. But since reading Lynsey's book I've felt a positive shift that I can clean well (and I'll feel better for it) and it's really not that bad, especially when you know what to use and when, which thankfully Lynsey does an excellent job of explaining. Plus I'm so pleased that cleaning Lynsey's way (and no doubt our grandparents way) will not cost the earth in more ways than one. I'm thankful this book reminds me that you don't have to do irreparable damage to the environment to have a clean and fresh smelling home. The whole housekeeping business really doesn't seem quite so daunting anymore. Her voice is now the 'cleaning' voice in my head thanks to this book.If you love cleaning or can't stand it How to Clean Your House is a gem of a book that will motivate you, and fill you with ideas, whether you're a newbie or have been cleaning for 20+ years like me. I will be hanging on to my copy and definitely passing on to my own children when it's time for them to have their own home.Brill book that exceeded my expectations.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. What else were people expecting? This book does exactly what it says on the tin. It gives you helpful and handy household cleaning tips in a digestible reference format. I’m an avid cleaner. I love finding little hints and tips from various sources and this book had some I hadn’t heard of before that have worked extremely well. It’d be an excellent gift for someone setting up their first home. Reminds me of an old Mrs Beetons book, but for today’s market. I wish I’d had this when I first moved out. loved it.

Great book, I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about (trolls obviously). It's got some great cleaning tips and ita definitely one to keep around for those emergency stains.I do agree with one person, however, that she does repeat herself a bit but that's not a big issue. She's done really well with this and I would recommend it.
