Is there a newer edition of this book? This book has some interesting negotiating advice, but the copyright is 2006. It talks about faxing offers and says, "some agents even use the Internet."I will look for a book that is more current to see if this advice still applies.

I've read a lot of Bob Irwin books. They are usually excellent, and this one is no different. Gave me lots of ideas to use for negotiation. Now if I just remember them when I need them. This book is a "must" for newbie investors.

Great book, I learned a lot!

I used an earlier edition of Robert Irwin's book when I bought my first home years ago. It is an excellent guide, especially for a novice home buyer. Highly recommend.
