Tomatoes are sweet. I only buy this brand because how tomatoes are packed, never swimming in sauce. I buy the crushed and whole tomatoes because they are the closest to home grown tomatoes.

They make a great sauce! Not watery or acidity! My favorite San Marzano tomatoes!

I will use no other. These are far and away the best San Marzanos available. Perfect tomatoes in every can. Pricey but worth it.

These guys are famous for good reason. They are okay at flavor for most dishes and at an okay price. I mean, go ahead and buy them since a single purchase is pretty cheap, but I dare you to taste them straight out of the can and cooked in whatever meal you want. Then compare them to other snobby brands at your favorite store and the super cheap store brands. You will doubtless find better values AND better flavors elsewhere as long as you keep on honestly testing. But this provides a great baseline to always work from with it’s consistent okay flavor and okay price. When you move or your favorite product loses it’s quality it’s a great home position to return and start the process again.

We have used different imported Italian San Marzano brands for pasta sauces and found this brand to be the most flavorful. Very surprisingly, we discovered these tomatoes are grown in the US (Pennsylvania).

I have used these tomatoes for a very long time. They are great. I think it's a bit strange that local whole foods dropped the brand about when Amazon picked it up. I guess I should be grateful that they are available anywhere.

These are the only tomatoes to use in you Spaghetti sauce... or any Marinara...
