No, the bread does not have caraway seeds. I really like this bread, it will be my 4th order. When it gets here I cut it in 4 pieces and freeze them.

Not sure, but I can tell you it tastes like it is a German authentic bread. Lived 12 years in Germany and I know it is a German bread.

Cannot answer question re. shelf life. The bread I received was fresh. I opened 1 pack and froze the remaining 3 until I used them. Very pleased with the product.
