Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Overall this is a great camera for the money and certainly on par if not slightly better than most other cameras in it's class. Though I had initially intended to use this as a secondary camera which faces through my rear window, I've found it's only useful during the day for that purpose, as it records little usable footage through the privacy tint. Installation is easy, and the setup is a lot easier than most that I have had. Uncomplicated by apps to install on your phone, weird menus that don't make sense, or multi-function buttons that are hard to press or unintuitive, this camera keeps everything straight forward and nononsense. At full 1080P and a max of 32GB of storage, those looking to get a full day of recording will be deeply disappointed, as it seems to fill up in about 5 hours.

Allow me to start off by saying this has a lot of great features for the price that other expensive models have. You do need to purchase an SD card but they are cheap and you dont have to worry about the memory because if you dont save it it will continue to loop towards any older recordings you have. It activates on rapid acceleration or deceleration and also has parking mode which keeps the camera off unless the car is bumped or recieves a sharp vibration then the camera will activate and record whatever cause the problem. It's small but not too small so you can easily set it anywhere on the front of rear windshield without it obstructing your view of the road. It comes with a suction cup to hold it that is very strong and withstands most common speed bumps or potholes without falling off. I do recommend this dashcam if you need one and are on a budget. Great way to keep you and your passengers safe if anything were to arise.

You can not program it. When you hit the power button it will only stay on for 2 - 3 minutes and then it will shut down. The mounting equipment that comes with it is cheap flimsy plastic and if you were to apply any type of pressure it would break. They offer no means of communication / support except through some email to some one named "Lisa"... Then someone named "An" replied back saying and I quote " We so sorry that we don't have the hotline and spoken English are not well, it better that we can contact by mail."... end quote. Who offers customer service through the mail not to mention they are in China....! Do your research on a company prior to buying! Funny I paid $39.99 and the day after I placed my order Amazon dropped the price to $19.99... This camera is not worth $1.99...! Amazon, you are getting this piece of crap back!

The camera seems like a good deal.What I like: Picture is very good for this size dash cam-delivery as promised-saw the same camera on a Big Box website for $99. All in all, a great camera for the price.What comes up short-This seems to be the same on every dash cam I've seen so I'm not picking on this on. Why can't they label the buttons so they can be seen when looking at the screen side of the camera?The manual is bare min and misses an important point. The recording function has to be OFF before you can access any of the menu settings. I actually returned the first one (great service from Amazon-as usual) because I thought it was defective. I also wrote the vendor customer service about it before returning it to ask for help, haven't heard from them yet.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Simple to install. It has all the tools necessary for the installation. Make sure you pick a good spot for it. With this set, you can tilt and turn it however you want. My current set is attached on the mirror so i can't really tilt or bend. That is another reason why i bought this set for a replacement. It is very straightforward to navigate around the interface. It isn't that complicate to set this dash cam up. Just a little common sense, you can install this with breeze. Make sure you use the max of 32gb sd card. It will not accept anything larger.

I like how easy the camera is to set up and use! I also like how it comes with plenty of cord for the power cord to connect to the vehicle! The picture quality is top notch and the sound is perfect. The only thing I would like that would make this camera better, is a connection included that I can wire in the camera to the vehicle battery without using a cigar lighter connection. I would totally buy this again!

DC was smaller than appeared in the pics. Nice packaging, Unit made ok feel. I can return it free. That was summary or good things about it.It has archaic usb-mini port. No even micro. That makes me think it was made in 2015 or so. USB-mini?!Default date was in 2019 that supports the previous observationManual is written by google-translate and is more like quick-start guide rather than manual. There is no comprehensive manual.Interface score is 1 out of 100. Typical chenese factory UI made by the only one guy who knows Eng Shle Esh or something.Why don't you just take old free source google interface from flip phones from many years ago? Proprietary UI is total garbage.I would still did not bother to return it given all that. But. Cam is supposed to (a) write video and (b) identify video. I does A okay. It can't do B. Video Time and Date keep getting reset in the first 1 min after restarting the cam. Tried it several times and dreaded default 2019 date keeps coming back. Reset date, save, check, bunch of weird sounds and unit is back to 2019So, stay away. Garbage.BTW I had another chenese no-brand dash cam. It worked well for ~1 year and than started to reset to 2019 date too. I wonder if they ALL use the same "well known" Soney or Intle chip. What a disaster.

Photo quality is lacking compared to others, but is acceptable for the average person. Controls are a bit difficult to figure out even after reading the manual, and actually navigating the settings is tedious, but overall it is a decent setup.
