Don't let price fool you.
The ability to see water or other contaminants in my fuel , a sportmanWith 4 different kinds of boats i don't know how i got along my entire life without this. 1 easy to see a problem- 2 size is perfect for placement. 3 price is reasonable. I don't want to use it the word cheap because this product is far from that. Oh it comes with everything you need, but the screws you need to mount it!!!!!

Defective
Came out of the house going to the detached garage and smelled gas. Got in the garage and gas was draining out of the boat drain plug onto the floor. The clear plastic cup on the bottom of the fuel filter softened and the o-ring swole up allowing the entire fuel tank to drain overnight. Not happy!

More water than you thought!!!
I have marine application. I'm renovating a 1989 Boston Whaler Revenge Cutty 25. It has twin 70 gal fuel tanks. On tank was disconnected due to fuel line issues. I corrected the line issue but then discovered that due to the long idle time this large tank had collected a substantial amount of condensation.,gallons ... so I used the filter to gradually remove the water to return this valuable tank to service. Works ok, but...
Installed this unit on my old backhoe. So far it seems to work ok, however: The pipe threads are short and shallow and dont offer a lot of engagement, which is a bit concerning. Annoyingly, the bleeder vent is in the wrong place and if you try and use it, it just lets out fuel without releasing much air. Next service, I'm going to install a small ball valve on the unused discharge port and bleed from there.

Leeks after 2 weeks.
Worked fine in the beginning. After2 weeks it started to leak when I squeezed the bulb pump. One week later the engine just sucked in air thru the leakage and would not start.
