This is a stylish elegant looking brush. It's made out of good material. However, if you have thick and curly hair this may not be the right brush for you. The bristles are very soft and flexible, and doesn't provide the stability you may need for thick hair. It probably works and feels great on fine hair. As far as it being an amazing brush for hair, well, in my opinion, a flat brush is a flat brush. I've used $30 brushes and I've used $3 brushes. My hair looks the same, but I fell into the trap that it would make my hair very smooth after blow drying. It doesn't. If you want to pay for the look of this brush, it's worth $15. If you think you're paying $15 for a brush that'll do amazing things for your hair; it's not worth it. Get a $3 one at your local grocery store. I do, however, LOVE the brush cleaner that comes with it! It works really well pulling out hair from the bristles.

This brush had a smell that didn't come out after 3 washes. It shouldn't take all of that so I never used it.I purchased another brand that arrived same time and that brush was great for detangling and scalp massaging.

I recommend it to any one with wavy hair.
