LIUDAO Paint by Numbers Kit for Beginner, DIY Oil Painting 16x20 Inch Wood Frame (Sailboat)

The printing on the canvas is so faint, it makes painting this picture accurately virtually impossible. Not only that, the lines you can barely make out don't connect to anything...they just stop. I've done quite a few of the paint by number sets, and , without a doubt, this is the hardest canvas to make out and follow I have ever received.

This was my third paint by number kit and I wasn’t as satisfied with this one. It was extremely hard to follow the number patterns they looped and wrapped around a lot and I often found myself losing my place or finding spots with no numbers on them. The numbers would also overlap and fall in between the lines. The colors also didn’t match the picture and I had to guess what colors should go where at times. It came out okay overall but the way the numbers were cut and arranged stressed me out.

Most of the paint color numbers on the canvas are very, very small. If a color stretches several inches there will still be only one number to identify the color and could be lost as it very often is on a line shared by another color. Using the attached paper sketch is useless as these numbers are even harder to read. Will stay away from this maker in the future.

This is my first try at Paint by Numbers. I picked a challenging one for sure but I am very much up for it. I am excited to see the finished piece. Love the subject matter. I am looking forward to adding my own touches and hilights and make it my own. Have fun with this one. Thanks.
